(Y/n) smiled, taking a bit of a sweet pastry set in front of them.

"Woah! Dessert for breakfast! These guys know how to treat an avatar," Aang marveled, stuffing his face with an egg tart.

Katara sat next to Aang and (Y/n), letting out a content sigh as she slumped down onto the cushion. (Y/n) smiled softly, handing Katara a strawberry-filled pastry.

"Isn't it so good?" (Y/n) excitedly asked, taking another big bite.

Katara took a small nibble, her eyes lighting up.

"Woah You're right! It is delicious! "

Aang stared at Katara, seeming to get lost in his own world. (Y/n) turned, noticing him staring at her little sister. She smirked, whispering something into Katara's ear. She furiously blushed, lightly hitting (Y/n) arm.

Aang shook himself out of his trance, watching as Sokka sulked in a corner.

"What's wrong, Sokka? Are you gonna eat?"

"Nope. Not hungry," Sokka mumbled, kicking at the floor.

"Not hungry? Sokka, you're always hungry!" Aang stuffed another egg tart into his mouth, tilting his head in a confused manner to look at Sokka.

"He's just mad that a bunch of girls kicked his butt," Katara smirked.

Sokka turned around enraged, stomping towards the door. He mumbled under his breath, opening the door with enough force to make a small dent in the walls. Sokka quickly turned around, grabbing a handful of sweets before dashing outside. (Y/n) sighed, sweatdropping at her brother's antics.

"What's he so angry about? It's great here! They're giving us the royal treatment," Aang beamed, looking at the repainted Kyoshi statue.

"Hey, don't get too comfortable. It's risky for us to stay in one place for very long."

"I'm sure we'll be fine, right (Y/n)?" He innocently asked, looking at her for backup.

(Y/n) looked at Katara before answering. "I think Katara's right Aang. It won't be long before the Fire Nation comes looking for you."

'But,' (Y/n) thought to herself. 'It wouldn't be too bad to see Zuko again. Then, I can beat his ass-'

"...Just don't let it all go to your head."

"Come on, you know me better than that!" Aang stated, brushing Katara's concerns off to the side. "I'm just a simple monk!"

Aang walked over to the windows, waving down to the little girls who shrieked at his appearance. Katara rolled her eyes, sticking her tongue out. (Y/n) decided to not get involved, instead choosing to eat her sweets in peace. Aang quickly left after, spewing nonsense about 'checking the village out' and 'to not keep his company waiting'. (Y/n) couldn't help but roll her eyes at his previous words. 'Yeah. Totally not going to your head.'

(Y/n) carried the heavy basket of food in her arms, groaning as she placed them down next to Katara. She picked up a bag of chestnuts, observing their shells to see if there were any blemishes. Satisfied with her pick, she gently placed them on top of the other vegetables she had picked. Katara placed a cucumber inside the basket.

Aang walked up to them, meekly tapping Katara's shoulder. She looked at him and smiled. Aang couldn't help but blush.

"Hey! Can you help me carry this up to the room? It's a little heavy," Katara smiled.
