Engagement Day:

Guest House:

Kathir's return home heralded the onset of the evening, the precise timing of his arrival a testament to his punctuality. Upon entering the familiar confines of his room, he embarked on the ritual of transformation, shedding the mundane attire of the day for a more refined ensemble befitting the occasion. His choice was resolute - a crisp white shirt paired with sleek black pants, an enduring combination that exuded understated elegance.

Meanwhile, in her own sanctum, Mullai meticulously prepared herself for the evening's engagement festivities. Her attire, carefully curated for the occasion, showcased a vibrant interplay of colors - an orange and violet lehenga that cascaded gracefully around her slender form. The intricate patterns of the skirt complemented her long legs, adding an aura of regal sophistication to her ensemble.

With her hair artfully arranged, Mullai opted for a more relaxed style, the curls framing her face with an air of effortless allure. The absence of her spectacles, a departure from her usual demeanor, lent a touch of mystique to her appearance, accentuating her features with newfound clarity.

As Mullai descended the stairs, her presence commanded attention, a striking juxtaposition against the backdrop of the familiar surroundings. Kathir, captivated by her transformation, found himself momentarily entranced, grappling with the realization that her allure transcended mere aesthetics.

Yet, Mullai's demeanor betrayed no hint of vulnerability as she navigated past Kathir with measured poise, a subtle display of indifference masking the tumultuous emotions brewing beneath the surface.

Undeterred by her apparent aloofness, Kathir followed in her wake as they embarked on their journey to Pandian Villa, the looming specter of her imminent departure casting a somber shadow over the evening's festivities. For Mullai, the prospect of returning to her estranged husband's abode was a bitter reminder of the fractured ties that bound them together.

Pandian Villa:

Pandian Villa looked beautiful..almost regal

The Villa was decorated with strands and chains of yellow and orange marigold flowers, and lit by a hundred or more fairy lights.

As they stepped out of the car and onto the grounds of Pandian Villa, Mullai was immediately struck by the splendor of the surroundings. The grandeur of the house, adorned with elaborate decorations, was a sight to behold. Mullai had only ever glimpsed this imposing structure from afar, its ornate gates serving as a barrier between her and the opulence within. Now, as she ventured into the estate alongside Kathir, she found herself navigating a realm entirely unfamiliar to her.

Approaching the entrance, Mullai was greeted by the sight of Murthy and Devi, the hosts of the evening, extending warm welcomes to the arriving guests. Kathir, familiar with the familial atmosphere, embraced his elder brother with genuine affection, exchanging pleasantries with his sister-in-law in the process. Mullai, on the other hand, stood by silently, a spectator to the familial reunion unfolding before her.

Devi, radiating hospitality and grace, turned her attention to Mullai, offering a genuine smile of welcome.

D - Vaa Mullai..nee vandhadhulla enakku rhomba sandosham..rhomba thanks..

Devi greeted warmly.

Mullai reciprocated the smile, her demeanor gracious yet reserved.

M - Neenga thanks solradhukku ellam onnum illa..innaikku en annanukku nichayadartham..naan varama eppadi..hmm..en appa amma la vandhutaangala??

She replied politely. Devi nodded reassuringly.

D - Ahn..vandhutaanga Mullai..ulla dan irukanga..vaa naan kootitu poren
