"Wow... they really took it out on you," Irresistible said as she walked along the runway that had more holes than Swiss cheese

"Yeah, still, We are marines so it was nothing we couldn't manage..." The Captain in charge said while looking around at his men who were finally getting some rest "I'm sure none will tell you... but we were slowly losing hope."

"Thanks to your men, The Eagle Union ships will have an easier time operating in the Pacific," The pre-dreadnought said as she looked at the burned foliage and destroyed buildings "Though it will take some time to prepare this"

"Once those at Pearl Harbor gather themselves, it won't take long, I'm sure of it," The officer said as they finally arrived at the impromptu Rigging repair station,

Irresistible smiled as a thought came to her mind "Isn't it funny, how we can just materialize them from thin air and make them disappear... but for major repairs they need humans, bulins or manjuus to work on them.

"Well, even magic has its limit." The man said, a subordinate whisking him away somewhere else where he was needed

The old ship being left alone for a while as Warspite's fleet went back to port Moresby and the other girls were on patrol. She was left with nothing but to walk along the Island's beaches while thinking of whatever came to her mind.

Nothing, nothing came as she continued to walk, the adrenaline of battle long gone, the joy she felt when she was once again able to fight, mixed with uneasiness as it was against her fellow kind.

>Newarks POV<

All around me was endless sea, a sea that only once had I seen, in the darkest hour of our navy.

There were no waves, no wind, the sun didn't move while the moon was semi-transparent and in the sky.

When I looked one way it was sunrise, turning around changed it to evening and doing it again made it any other time of day.

But something was different, the last time I had my rigging, the last time felt like an eternity.

Fear began to grow as I began to wonder if I would once again have to wait an eternity, in a place where there was no way to measure time than doing it manually as even the clocks failed and were either still or spinning around

I now stood on what became my rigging, the armoured deck of USS Newark, the ship itself,

I remembered what happened to me, How I felt the pain of my cube being taken out of my body and the connection between them severed.

Looking down, there was no hole and my uniform was clean and as if new

"What do they want from me?" I asked out loud after what felt like an eternity of thinking... or maybe it was just a while?

I don't know how many laps around the deck I did, how many times I changed directions or changed the deck, how many times I inspected the Six-inch guns, how many times

And as if the emptiness heard me, after a second of eternity, it answered

"You," A voice said as I stopped doing push-ups on the deck.

"What? Who is there!" I immediately asked, grabbing my sword as It's better to be safe than sorry

"Going for the darkest scenario, are you Newark?" The voice said again, this time more clearly as I sheathed the sabre back in it's place
