as yonni and her three friends, ddot, dd, and notti, made their way out of the mall, they were engrossed in sharing dark humor jokes that had them all laughing so hard it sounded like screams, leaving them gasping for air.
as they walked past a group of boys, one particular boy couldn't take his eyes off yonni. it was as if he was studying every inch of her, exchanging looks with his friends as if they had a plan brewing. yonni's raised eyebrow showed her curiosity, and her expression was so intense that it could have made anyone feel intimidated.
when the tall boy with dreadlocks approached her, ddot and dd immediately tensed up, ready for any trouble. the atmosphere was tense, with piercing stares questioning the boy's intentions with yonni.
"hey, you yonni right?" the boy asked nervously, scratching the back of his neck. yonni, with an impatient tilt of her head, demanded that he get to the point, her body language unwavering and ready for anything.
as the boy, messiah, introduced himself and explained that they had classes together, asking for her number, ddot and dd rolled their eyes in annoyance. it seemed like their hopes involving yonni and notti were about to go haywire.
yonni reluctantly exchanged numbers with messiah, much to the dismay of dd and ddot. watching messiah skip away happily to his friends, who were celebrating, yonni was confused by the excitement. she had only wanted a friendship, but the situation had escalated far beyond that.
notti, in shock and disbelief, was left dissociating as he tried to process what had just happened. meanwhile, dd and ddot shared conflicted and worried looks, anticipating notti's reaction and next move.
suddenly, notti decided to give yonni the bags he had bought, but the gesture seemed excessive to him. he left the bags with her and made a hasty exit, leaving yonni puzzled and conflicted.
yonni's mood shifted as she began to piece together the situation, her anger evident as she glared at dd and ddot. their expressions mirrored her mother's stern gaze, a side of yonni they had not seen before.
with a sigh and a facepalm, yonni bid farewells to her friends and stormed off in a different direction, leaving dd to go find his brother notti.
