Santosh answered the door. Karishma stood with a bouquet of red roses in a black bellbottom and a black corset top highlighting all her curves under a black coat, she completed her look with black boots and hair let down, her aura screamed power and class. "Hot" Santosh murmured
"Hello, I am Karishma" she extended her hand
"Hello, I am Santosh, you can call me Santu" She took her strong hand "Please come in officer"
"Thank you, and Karishma is fine"
"Please have a seat Karishma" she smiled pointing to the sofa, returning with a glass of juice she sat facing her
"This is Sachi" she pointed to the figure hiding behind her
"Hello Sachi, I am Karishma" she smiled at her "This is for you" She took a chocolate from her pocket. Waiting for her mother's signal, Sachi stared at her with those puppy eyes, she seized the chocolate as her mother nodded in affirmation and sat beside Karishma
"Sachi, you look exactly like Elsa! Are you Elsa?" she said acting surprised
Haseena entered the room and saw Sachi and Karishma excitedly talking to each other
"Hello, thank you for waiting," she said, all of them turned towards her from the couch.The soft breeze from the fan ruffled her black short A-line dress ending above her knees, her hair snaking down her hips, red lips smiling shyly, eyes astonished to see everyone silently staring at her, she slowly moved towards them balancing in her not-so-high heels given by Santosh
"Hasu maa, you look so pretty!" Sachi ran to her and hugged her, kneeling Haseena said
"Thank you, honey, but my Sachi is more pretty"
"You look..." Karishma started, unable to finish, she handed her the flowers with a smile smitten all over her face,
"Thank you" Haseena took them, "breathtaking" Haseena murmured looking at Karishma
They walked to the door, saying goodbye Santosh whispered
"You can be late if you want to" she giggled
"Shut up" Haseena whispered, eyeing Karishma
"Hasu maa, can I come with you," Sachi said hugging Haseena. Picking her up Haseena said
"Honey, we can't go out today. However tomorrow we can go to the park. Now come on give your Hasu maa a goodbye kiss"
The evening sky, dark and silky presented the shiny stars, the birds calling out their mates to come home, the cool breeze moving swiftly between the apartments, parents calling their kids for supper. As they sat in the car, Karishma presented her with a rose, frowning Haseena stared at her
"I know you'll be leaving those flowers at home, so I bought this to accompany you for the drive" she smiled, laughing Haseena accepted it.
"And I have something for you" Haseena took out a covered package from her bag, Karishma took it and carefully opened it, it was a paperback of Dan Brown's "Origin".
"Thank you, then let's begin our journey" she smiled
After a 30-minute drive, they entered a sophisticatedly looking restaurant. Settling in, they order the food.
"Sachi is so sweet if I get a chance, I will take her home with me"
"I would do the same, she is like my forbidden fruit. She is the best goddaughter one can ask for" Haseena smiled
