Chapter 6 - Focus

You headed down to breakfast and grabbed a fruit salad because, you needed to have your meds before training and you also got a cut of tea
"Y/n I think your addicted to tea"
Leah said sighing as she placed her lucozade on the table
"I am not!"
You replied knowing Leah was 100% right. You all went outside and were greeted by Sarina
"Morning ladies, today's gonna be all about finding our feet as we do have a bit of a squad change up so we need to figure out the dynamics"
Everyone listened contently to the rest of her speech, then you got on with training, Leah rocketed the ball across the pitch to you and you volleyed it into the back corner, missing Ellie's glove by an inch. Sarina sent you a smile and clap of approval, statistically nobody had saved one of your shots since 2017, so it was kinda expected. After training Leah began walking towards you
"That was a fucking rocket of a goal kid"
She said putting her arm around your shoulder, you were in the process of doing something but lost all focus.
The rest of camp was a blur until 2 nights before the first group stage game against Austria at Old Trafford. Things with you and Leah were going good, you had admitted to Georgia that you had a crush on her and you were definitely flirting with each other.
"Leah"
"What's up?"
"Are you nervous?"
"Kinda, why?"
"I feel like I'm gonna throw up everytime I think about the game"
"well I know a way to make the nerves go away"
Leah said smirking, she walked over to you, put one arm in your waist and the other on your chin and soon your lips were touching, Leah pulled away
"That okay with you?"
She said grinning like the Cheshire cat
"mhm"
Was all you could mutter before going back in for a second one. You felt her tongue against your lips asking for entry, you opened your mouth and your tongues battled for dominance for a couple minutes until you heard a knock on the door.
"I can hear yous in there let me in"
It was Georgia, she was so impatient you thought. You placed your hand on Leah hip as she answered the door
"What's up?"
Leah asked still out of breath from making out with you.
"I'm having like a mid life crisis"
Georgia said this while also looking the pair of you up and down after noticing you were both trying to catch your breath, she shrugged her shoulders and let herself in.
