"Oh marie! I don't think I will like it here!" Odette sobbed.

Marie pinned back the pink lacey curtains and shook Odette's shoulder.

"There, there honey. At least you get this spectacular view! That's a good thing right?"

"And you get free things. Not many people get that. Plus Marty told me how much your father neglected you during your childhood. I promise he or me will never do anything like that." Marie, smiled, sitting on the corner of Odette's bed.

Odette sat up and hugged Marie. Tears trickling down her pale baby face.

"You said you and Marty would never hurt me..but what about Armani?"

Odette finished decoration her windowsill with a blooming pretty pink bouquet of flowers and a small blue bird ornament she got from her mother before she left.

A knock was heard from behind her-at her door. Odette tip toed to the continuous loud knocking. She cracked the door open slightly before falling back as the door was forcefully pushed open.

"Odette I-" Armani looked down at Odette with a "Get up now" look on his face.

Odette leaned over to the right and cupped her hand on her butt as she winced a little. She fell pretty hard on the wood planks and bounced off of them a little. Armani shook his head as he held his big hands out to her. They were rather large compared to Odette's.

"T-thank you Armani."

"I was just here to ask for a room tour. I want to see if Marie did what I asked her to."

"Oh! Yeah okay! Well," Odette grabbed Armani's hand and led him to her vanity.

"What's with these random women on the wall?" He asked

"What's with these random women on the wall?" He asked.

"Oh your silly mani. Do you..not know who Lana del Rey is?" Odette asked politely, just incase he didn't.

"No." Armani answered.

"Oh well she makes music-good music at that. She's my favorite. But I like a few others too-"

"Okay, next. And don't call me Mani." He spat.

Odette looked down. He followed her to a very cute, neat corner with a cat bed and a food and water station. Nothing was in the dishes or in the toy box.

"What's this for, hm?" Armani asked, rubbing his chin.

"Oh it's for when I get a cat. I really love cats. But, daddy said I can't have a cat because they stink and are a waste of air." Odette frowned.

It bummed her to see her father say such mean things about such perfect animals.

"Ah, I see. Big animal fan, huh?"

"Yep! Marie told me you have some goats and horses and-"

"Okay, Odette. Yes, that is true. Would you like to visit them?"

Odette mhmed as she jumped for joy. Armani thought something to himself as he turned around and opened a dresser. His face turned a little red as he found her bra drawer.

He coldly closed it and turned to Odette who was in her own world

He coldly closed it and turned to Odette who was in her own world. She was laying on her bed holding buttons.

Armani walked up next to her and gabbed buttons

Armani walked up next to her and gabbed buttons.

"You're too old for toys, Odette." He said.

"No! My mother gave me this. This is all I have of her other than that silly blue bird. I just like to hold her!" Odette argued.

Odette snatched the teddy bear out of Armani's hands. She was feisty like a little chihuahua. He liked that, he had to admit.

"Let's not keep the goats and horses waiting." Armani said rushing out of her room.

Odette sprung out of bed, placing buttons against her pillows as she followed him, squealing with delight and pure excitement.
