"Miss Lily Adams, consider it done. Your wish shall be fulfilled." A werewolf of Delta rank humbly prostrated himself before the enigmatic girl.

"I command you to seize this girl on my behalf. Ensure that you do not fail." The girl's voice resonated with an unwavering authority, devoid of any trace of emotion. Her desire for vengeance burned within her.

"Yes, ma'am. I shall apprehend her today, accompanied by one of my trusted comrades." The imposing figure spoke with utmost sincerity.

"No need for such formality. You may carry out the task tomorrow; there is no need to rush." The girl dismissed him with a wave of her hand, exuding an air of mysterious confidence.

"And how could I not? If not for that wretched conflict, you would have ascended to our rightful throne!" The man protested, rising to his feet, his voice laced with offense.

"Yet, is it not the hand of fate? A Beta cannot govern the pack; it was inevitable for a dominant force to conquer ours." The girl's smile, though present, failed to reach her eyes, leaving an enigmatic aura in its wake.

The man sighed deeply and declared, "I shall carry out my mission tomorrow. If there is nothing more, I shall take my leave."

The girl nodded, extending a photograph of the target towards him.

The man's gaze fixated upon his objective, a teenage girl with a pallid complexion, piercing blue eyes, and a beauty mark adorning the left side of her gaze.

Luna's mom was giving her the classic "you're late" lecture, but Luna was more interested in the carpet than her mom's words. Classic move.

But then her mom did the unthinkable. She let her off the hook! Luna couldn't believe it. She was ready for a full-on argument, but her mom just gave up. Mothers really know how to play the victim.

Luna retreated to her room, wondering why she was so submissive to her mom. Was it just respect, or was it fear?

She pondered this while lying in her king-sized bed, thinking deeply about a certain silver-eyed being. Wait, what? Luna was thinking about an animal? She hit herself in the head, trying to snap out of it. But then she rationalized it - it was just in a friendly way, totally platonic. And let's be real, if she ever saw a person with silver eyes, she would kiss them. She even swore on it with her three fingers sticking out from her hand.

But alas, she knew there wouldn't be any person with silver eyes. So she slumped on her bed, face down, and fell asleep in that position. Who needs a pillow when you have a king-sized bed?

"Whisper my name, and watch as your troubles dissolve amidst the fog called love," a velvety voice murmured, its origins likely traced to a maiden's lips.

Why does she remain concealed from my sight? I yearn to draw near, to caress her tenderly.

"Do you not desire my presence? Very well, then I shall depart, perhaps forevermore."

'No!'

Luna's words hung in the air, a mysterious aura enveloping the room.

Her mother entered the room hurriedly, her eyes narrowed, a flicker of concern dancing in their depths.

Who was this girl that haunted Luna's dreams? A voice so enchanting, it seemed to beckon from the shadows, promising a world beyond the realm of reality.

As Luna pondered the identity of this ethereal figure, a shiver ran down her spine. There was something otherworldly about the encounter, something that defied logic and reason. The mist of a fog called love, the girl had said. But what did it mean? And why did Luna feel such an inexplicable pull towards her?

Lost in her thoughts, Luna couldn't help but wonder if this dream was more than just a figment of her imagination. Was it a premonition, a glimpse into a future yet to unfold? Or perhaps, it was a message from a parallel universe, a hidden realm where the boundaries of time and space blurred into one.

Her mother's gaze shifted, her eyes filled with a mix of worry and curiosity. She knew there was more to this dream than Luna was willing to reveal. The truth lingered in the air, like a secret waiting to be unraveled.

Luna's voice trembled as she spoke, her words tinged with a hint of fear and excitement.

"I don't think I have ever met anyone with a voice like hers," Luna finally confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

The mystery deepened, the enigma of the girl's identity growing with each passing moment. Who was she? And why did she call out to Luna, as if bound by an invisible thread that connected their souls?

"You aren't going anywhere for a week," her mom commanded, her voice heavy with sadness and mystery.

"Mom, but tomorrow is my second day of school and they are going to give us assignments," she pleaded, her eyes filled with tears.

"Ask your friends to provide you with that," her mother replied, her tone cold and distant.

"Mom, you know what? I don't have friends. Everyone thinks I'm a weirdo because of you. Everyone fears you, and they used to laugh at me for how stupid I was to believe you," she said, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Okay, you can go to school, but just for tomorrow. After that, you have to stay at home for a week. No more buts and howevers. Sleep, cry, or do whatever you want for all I care," her mother announced before leaving the room, leaving the girl feeling more alone than ever.

"What am I supposed to do for a whole week? Mom!" she cried out, her voice echoing through the empty room.

"I hate you, Mom. I fucking hate you," she whispered to herself, her head buried in her pillow as she cried herself to sleep.

Little did they both know that it was her last day at school after all, and she wasn't just taking a week off, but more than that. The mystery of what was to come hung heavy in the air, and the sadness of what had already happened weighed heavily on her heart.
