[2 Weeks Later]

Drew: Karen the baby is crying

Drew said falling back asleep

Karen: Drew I got her twice already

Drew: Well get her again, I'm trying to get some rest before I go to class

Karen: I was up all night with her, you can get her again. I'm exhausted-

Dorinda: It's okay y'all, I'll get her.

Dorinda got up and walked upstairs to get Faith. Karen got up anyway because it was time for her to bump. She set the machine up and started pumping before lecturing Drew.

Karen: Drew.

Drew: What?

Karen: You need to start stepping up more around here. She's a newborn and needs more attention from both of us. You, always making an excuse on why you can't go get her is ridiculous. She's your daughter too.

Drew: Karen, What are you talking about?
I always have the baby even when you have her
most of the time I come get her. All I said a second ago was I was trying to get some rest and I'm about to head to class.

Karen: Drew now you know you don't get her.
You never do.

Drew: That's nonsense, Karen.

Karen: No it's not Drew-

Drew: How about you be a better mother and we can go from there. I don't think that's too much to ask.

Drew got up, grabbed his coat, and left out the front door slamming it. Dorinda from upstairs yelled followed by a screaming Faith.

Dorinda: WHO IS SLAMMING THE DOOR?
I JUST OUT FAITH BACK DOWN.

Karen sighed and Dorinda came downstairs with Faith in her hands.

Dorinda: Who's slamming the door?

Karen said dryly...

Karen: It was Drew...

Dorinda: Why the sad face? What happened?

Karen: We just got into an argument but it was nothing...

Dorinda: It was nothing? But tears are rolling down your cheek?

Dorinda sat down next to Karen with Faith in her arms and wiped her sister's tears.

Dorinda: Look I don't know what happened while I was upstairs for 7 seconds but
I can tell you hurt Karen, not only that I can see you beat, exhausted, stressed, irritated, and a lot more. You and Drew are new parents and it's had the first time but-
