Doubt
Cordelia's POV
Our History teacher was unfortunately so sick that she had to take a leave for the next couple of weeks. Ooperahan daw kasi ito kaya matatagalan bago siya makabalik.
Now we have a substitute teacher who looks like she would all give us failing grades.
"Alright class, settle down. Take your seats, come on." Pumalakpak pa siya para makuha niya ang atensyon nang lahat. Sumandal siya sa table at tiningnan kami isa't-isa.
Everyone's so quiet.
"I'm Professor Camila and I will be teaching you until your pre-finals."
"Oh wow. Parang siya na magiging teacher natin for the whole sem," bulong ni Faye sa akin.
"I'm very strict so I suggest you study hard and don't ever try to cheat on any of your exams or quizzes because, trust me, you'll regret it. I will immediately fail you if you get caught. I don't give second chances and I certainly do not tolerate wrongdoings."
Napalunok ang karamihan sa amin.
"Participate, get a high score and submit your assignments on time. In short, do well in my class and you'll get an uno. As easy as that." I smiled internally. More on memorization lang naman sa History.
"Nagkakaintindihan ba tayong lahat?" Everyone nodded but no one dared to speak. "Great. So let's start! For today's topic, we will be talking about one of the greatest kingdoms in the entire world, Costa Vira."
Gusto kong humalakhak nang sikuhin ako ni Faye. Wow, kapag sinuswerte ka nga naman.
Of course I know everything about my country. Mula nang matuto akong magbasa ay isa na iyon sa mga itinuro sa akin.
"Easy round. Can someone tell me the name of their King?"
Halos lahat kami ay nagtaas nang kamay.
"You, at the back! The one with the glasses."
Tumayo ang kaklase namin at sumagot. "King Alessandro Edward Dante II Dominguez."
"Very good. What's your name?"
Pagkasabi niya ay nakita kong sinulat iyon ng prof namin. She's giving credit to those who answer her questions correctly.
"Alright. What is the name of the future King, his son, who just got married recently?"
And again, a lot of students raised their hands. Imposible kasing hindi malaman ang pangalan ni Kuya. It's always the King and the next in line who was popular.
"I like this class! Napaka-attentive niyong lahat, nakakatuwa!" At nage-enjoy naman kaming magunahan para makasagot.
"Another easy question, who is King Edward's daughter who is set to have her first public appearance after her 18th birthday?"
