Me and Chris never really talked about our almost kiss
Maybe it was too soon, I'm not really sure
Currently I'm sitting my bed, it's 4pm, I haven't moved from here since 9am
I was looking at my ceiling, when my phone went off and snapped me out of my day dream
It was a text from Chris

I threw on a hoodie and went downstairs just as the doorbell rang
"Hi" I smiled opening the door
"Good morning to you too" he laughed coming inside
He closed the door behind him and followed me to the kitchen
"So what this important thing" I said filling a glass with water
I took a sip of water and then turned around to face him
He just smiled at me
"So" I said nodding my head
I put my glass down on the counter and crossed my arms "you took me out of my warm bed to smile at me" I joked "how rude" I was gonna walk past him but his arms wrapped around my waist
My breath hitched
I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me
"Matt left right" I said trying not to laugh "I mean I don't want a repeat-" I was cut off by him kissing me
We both pulled away after a moment
"I've wanted to do that" he said "for awhile"
I smiled at him "me too"
~two weeks later~
Chris pov
I still haven't asked her to be my girlfriend
But I think that if it wasn't obvious before that I like her, it is now
We're sitting in the living room watching a movie
It hasn't been as awkward as I thought it was gonna be
We definitely have gotten closer, like right now, she's sitting next to me and my arm is around her shoulders. When we got to this point, I couldn't tell you. But I don't mind it
"What are you guys doing" nick said coming down the stairs
"Movie" Victoria said gesturing to the tv
Nick just nodded his head and went to the kitchen
This felt normal, more normal I feel like it should at the moment
I glanced over to the kitchen and Nick was gone
Then I heard Matt "Chris!" He called from his room
I rolled my eyes "I'll be back" I said getting up
"K" she said pulling out her phone
I went to Matt's room "what" I said opening the door
Nick pulled me into the room and shut the door behind me
"Are you guys dating" nick said
"What no" I said
"You have asked" Matt said
"No..." I said slowly
"Why not" Matt asked
"Because" I said "I'm just trying to get comfortable but not too comfortable"
"Mmh" Matt said "I get it, do things at your own pace I guess"
