chapter 12

Macau's pov

"Macau!"

I heard my name , I could instantly recognised that voice , I turned around with a wide smile , seeing Boun walking to me , I stood up

"How come you're here?"

"Just wanting to take some fresh air , I'm working at the café nearby the beach"

"Oh? I didn't know you started to work , well that's nice"

"What about you?"

"I still don't know what to do , I'm feeling lazy after all"

"Lazy bitch"

"Says for yourself"

I laughed , it was nice that Boun had started working , I'm kinda lazy , I don't really wanna start working

"I'll see you later"

I nodded

"See you another time"

I sat down , searching for work means searching for trouble , I have an identity and so does my brother , I'm involved in these troubles , danger will always follow me , I let out a sigh , seeing the wave , the sea , kids laughing makes me felt warm , my lips formed into a smile m , then I saw some couples , they were taking pictures , I could feel him staring intensely at me , why was Kim staring at me like that?

"You like to swim?"

"Yeah? Why?"

Confused , I was dumbfounded as to why he was asking such thing , he was silent once again , I closed my eyes and let out a sigh when suddenly I felt myself being lifted , my eyes widen when I saw Kim lifting me up

"What're you doing!?"

My thoughts were all on him , seeing his face closed to mine made me feel some things , it wasn't unknown , it was the feeling of me being in love with a fucking beast who's cold , my thoughts were interrupted when I saw suddenly thrown in the water , I could hear laughing in the background , Kim was laughing , the water was fucking cold but felt good since the sun was burning me

"Oh you bitch"

I splashed water on him , putting his hands infront of him to not get water into his eyes , I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the water , it was my turn to laugh , we were both still in our clothes , the clothes felt heavy on my body , my white shirt became transparent as soon as I got into the water , Kim seemed to be nice when he isn't fighting , it's like a whole new personality , I heard that he also play the guitar and sang , I have never heard him sing but his voice was pretty nice

"What're you thinking?"

I looked up , Kim was an inch away from me , looking into his eyes , my heart skipped a beat , I immediately looked down , feeling my cheeks heated , my hands trembling , I let out a sigh , I could feel his gaze , I bite my lower lip , I looked up and splash water on him , I didn't want him to see my red face , him seeing me like this would be obvious

It was late , the sun was setting and we were going to the car , I had so much fun today honestly , passing the time with Kim made me realised that he have his own personal space and he's quite nice , since it was late , many people have already gone home , I put the bags in the car , there were still some stuff , I went to pick it up , helping Kim when suddenly someone bumped into me , dropping the bags , I looked up to see who it was , my eyes widen when I saw who it was

"Are you alright?"

Kim grabbed my upper arm , I look up to him slowly nodded , for some reason , his grip reassured me , his warmth felt different , I looked infront to see those shadow eyes , it was him , I hate him to death , why did I see him again? This felt so awkward , I avoid eye contact with him , he left without apologising , typical of him to do so , I felt Kim putting resting his arm on my shoulder

"You alright? You seem to have seen a ghost"

"I'm alright"

Kim sure knows how to show his concerns , If it was the old Kim , he wouldn't be like this , now we're friends , I guess he would be concern about me , well I think so , I could still feel his warm hand on my upper arm , his eyes were also on me , I could feel it , why was he staring at me so intensely? He always makes me thinks that I did something wrong which I didn't , I pushed his hand and went to the car , putting the things inside and sat down , I put on the seatbelt , Kim drove back home

That guy , I let out a sigh , we arrive shortly , we took everything out of the car , going to the kitchen , I poured myself some cold water and drank it

"What is it with you?"

"What?"

Confused as I was , I saw Kim infront of me , how the hell did he get here so fast? He was just outside

"That guy? I doubt you wouldn't know who it was?"

"I doubt you would care , not like it's your busin-"

I was suddenly grabbed by my upper arm again , interrupted my sentence , Kim's face was just an inch away from mine , I blushed

"But I do care"

This sentence felt unreal to me , did he just said that he care? He cares about what I think? He cares about what I talk? I pushed his hand away

"He's just an old friend"

"Old friend? Doesn't seem like it"

"What? Are you jealous or something stone boy?"

I chuckle but the look on Kim's face was different , he wasn't laughing , he was serious , I gluped , him being like this seems mad scary

"Let's just say that he was someone that I used to..have a crush on.."

Looking at his expression , it changed

"Then? Why not tell him?"

I shrugged

"He was a nerd before , In school , he used to get bullied , I kinda felt bad and became friends with him , taught him how to fight until he backstabbed me without realising it , the other day , he was the one who beat me , he was a great guy but my love for him had remained still for 2 years"

I said as I put my glass down , I fell for him before you came to school , until my eyes caught you Kim..

"You still have a crush on him?"

"Nah , ew , he disgust me now , I don't like people who bullies people just to impress others"

Honestly people like these disgust me , I put the glass in the sink

"Well goodnight"

I nod

"Night"
