I hadn't been the same. I felt different. A good kind of different.

My boss at work told me I had been glowing since the past few days. I had turned scarlet in response.

Springtime had never been so beautiful so alluring to me before, the blooms lining the roads of our little town made me stop on my tracks and admire them. The clouds that floated softly across the sky made me stop and adore them.

I hadn't seen Kevin much, maybe he was preparing for his return back that I didn't want to think about. Kevin would only be here for a month before he had to return home.

Two nights ago was the first time Kevin hadn't dropped me home. He said his aunt was preparing him a huge dinner.

I understood, after all his aunt won't be seeing him for a long time. I won't be seeing him for a long time.

I gulped inaudibly, letting my mind wander to Ana who was furiously tapping her laptop.

She said she was overwhelmed with work because the newbies were a menace. I could only offer her a chocolate drink in comfort.
