45.1: Pure Platonic

Three hundred and sixty five days later...

I was roaming around the grocery when I found who I was looking for. I creeped behind the person by tiptoeing as I slowly put my hands on the shoulders and whispered, "Boo."

Theia jerked away and glared at me. "Ate Alli!!!"

I laughed at her.

"Hello, Theia!" I greeted.

"Maybe you could've tried to search harder," she said and gave me a look.

I shrugged at what she said. I tried to change the topic and said, "So, are we going to buy the ingredients for your brother's cake or what?"

We started to pick up the ingredients for her recipe: flour, eggs, baking powder, salt, milk, chocolate, etc.

Today is Trey's birthday, and his little sister has planned a surprise birthday party or I don't know, pastry food trip, I guess?

I was about to send my message nang bigla siyang nagtext na 'wag daw munang babatiin yung kuya niya. Aga ko pa namang nagising.

We we're lining up to the cashier when a message came.

From: Trey

Psst, psst.

Theia already settled her ingredients on the kitchen counter.

"Ate, thank you talagaaaaaa~" she said while I was about to go upstairs and get something.

"No prob. I responsed with a smile and then she got back on what she's doing.

I tried to stay in my room for a while para na rin makapag-concentrate si Theia sa pagbebake niya.

I realized kasi na I really wasn't into cooking. Oh well.

The girl, though, got some skills. No wonder she and Creek got along. Creek's got a big stomach for food. Nakakapanghinayang lang na they separated and never got back together.

Maybe that's how things play out. If it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be and everything's just bound to end.

I shrug the thought off of my head at baka kung saan pa mapunta ang thinking ko.

Anyways, Theia had this whole pastry food trip surprise for his brother. She planned on baking cookies, cakes, muffins and cupcakes, donuts and all kinds of pastries. Trey's into those kinds of foods e, though you'll see him as the type who digs grilled and fried food. Oh well, we can't stereotype everyone else.
