A/N: Merlin AU where a time ago Arthur was kidnapped, this is about 6months after...(Arthur's POV)
I rolled over in bed, it was brolly busting weather tonight! There was loudly crackling thunder buzzing across the night-but wait-Merlin's not in bed! Maybe he is just in the toilet. Although, I was kidnapped on a night like this.
I roll back over to the window side and see a figure. Thank hell it's Merlin.
He seemed to be shaking slightly, twitching & staring distantly into the pouring rain. He had goosebumps lining his back.
I get up off of the bed and walk over and place my hand on his back. "Merlin?"
He turned to face me, his eyes were a mix of gold and blue, but they weren't fading.
"What's wrong?" I ask him.
"You were gone. I felt it. You were here-but you weren't and I couldn't find y-" "Shhhh....shhh it's okay Merlin." I hug him tightly to my chest.
"You're here."
