Jungkook's POV:

I stood on the balcony, taking in the serene night view of Korea. After five years, I found myself back in this familiar place, a wave of nostalgia washing over me. Everything seemed different, yet the essence of the city remained unchanged. Amidst the city lights, my thoughts drifted to Yn.

She was the little girl I had known, now transformed into a strong woman. I felt a sense of pride seeing her growth. Yn was more than just a friend; she was like a sister to me. I always spoke about her, sharing stories with Yuri, my possessive girlfriend. Yuri, at times, grew jealous, arguing with me for talking so much about Yn. But I couldn't help it; Yn was an integral part of my life.

Lost in my thoughts, Yuri joined me on the balcony. She suggested, "Jungkook, we should thank Yn for arranging everything for us. We haven't properly expressed our gratitude." Her idea resonated with me, and I agreed, "You're right. We should invite her for dinner. I'll talk to her about it."

Yuri nodded in approval before leaving the balcony. I couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness at the thought of reconnecting with Yn. She had played a significant role in my life, and now, as I returned to Korea, I wanted to express my appreciation for everything she had done.

Yn's POV:

While going through files in my cabin, the door creaked open, and I expected it to be Tae. As anticipated, he entered and took a seat. I asked him if there was any pending meeting, to which he chuckled and reminded me, "Yn, we're going for dinner at Jungkook's house. Did you forget?" Realizing my forgetfulness, I said, "Oh, I completely forgot. Let's go home."

We headed home, and I quickly got ready. Tae was waiting downstairs, and together, we made our way to Jungkook's house. During the drive, I leaned over to Tae and shared my plan, "Tae, I want some alone time with Jungkook, so you need to get Yuri out of our place, okay?" He listened and nodded in understanding.

Taehyung's POV:

As we arrived at Jungkook's home, the door opened, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as Yn hugged him. Clearing my throat, we moved to the living room, where a man, presumably Jungkook, asked us to take a seat. Yn introduced me as her best friend, and we exchanged greetings.

Jungkook then introduced the girl as Yuri, the one Yn had mentioned earlier. We all sat down, and Yuri began serving. Remembering Yn's request to help her spend time with Jungkook, I discreetly spilled wine on my lap. The suggestion to clean up led Yuri to guide me to the bathroom, and as we walked, I couldn't resist giving Yn a mischievous smile.

Jungkook pov :

Yn and I found ourselves alone in the living room as Taehyung and Yuri excused themselves. She looked at me with curiosity, her eyes searching for answers.

"Jungkook oppa, why did you come to Korea suddenly?" she inquired. I explained that after my studies in the US, I decided to work there for a few years to gain some experience. Now, the time felt right to settle back in Korea.

Her next question caught me off guard. "Are you going to settle in Korea with Yuri? Are you planning to marry her?" Yn asked, her gaze sincere. I chuckled and reassured her, "I haven't thought about marriage yet, Yn."

She pressed on, curiosity evident in her eyes. "How long have you and Yuri been dating? And how did you two meet?" I shared that we had been together for a year and that we both worked as pediatricians at the same hospital.

In the midst of our conversation, I couldn't help but be intrigued by Yn's life. "What about you, Yn?" I asked gently. "How's your love life?" Her expression shifted, a subtle mix of hesitation and vulnerability.

"I... I don't have much to share in that department," she admitted with a faint smile. "Life has been quite busy, you know. Work, responsibilities, and, well, unexpected twists." Her words held a weight of unspoken emotions.

Sensing the depth of her feelings, I decided to steer the conversation towards a lighter note. "Well, you deserve happiness, Yn. Someday, you'll find someone who appreciates the incredible person you are." Her eyes met mine, gratitude shining through the unspoken words.

Y/n pov

As Tae and Yuri returned within minutes, Tae took a seat beside me. After finishing dinner, we bid our goodbyes to Jungkook and Yuri.

As we drove back home, Tae asked about my time with Jungkook. I shared the details of our conversation, expressing my confusion about Jungkook's relationship with Yuri. Tae listened attentively, and when I mentioned that Jungkook hadn't thought about marrying Yuri, a sense of relief washed over me.

"I don't understand why he's dating her if he hasn't thought about marriage," I pondered aloud. Tae, with a reassuring smile, replied, "People have their reasons, Yn. Maybe he's still figuring things out."

As we reached home, Tae bid farewell, leaving me with my thoughts.
