In the harsh reality,
my world shattered, and I found myself breaking everything in my home. Tears streamed down my face uncontrollably; I couldn't bear the pain. The one who treated me kindly was not mine, and I couldn't fathom why. I screamed in frustration.

Grabbing a knife, I cut my hand again, the pain providing a temporary release for my anguish. Suddenly, someone took the knife from my hand; it was Tae. His face showed a mix of anger and concern.
Are you mad, Yn?" he shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos of the moment Hugging me, he asked calmly, "What happened, Yn?"I clung to him, tears staining his shirt, "Jungkook has a girlfriend. He introduced me to her. Why is he doing this to me? Doesn't he see that I love him?" I cried out in agony.

Tae, in a calm yet stern tone, responded, "Yn, when we love someone, we can't expect the same thing in return. Love must be accepted for what it is." I cried out in denial, "No, I won't give up. I can't let him go. Even if Yuri is in the picture, I'll do anything to make him mine."

Tae's eyes widened in shock as I declared with an evil smile,

"Be happy, Yuri.
You won't be with him anymore.
Jungkook is mine."

The room resonated with my determination, and Tae was left in disbelief, trying to comprehend the depth of my resolve.

Taehyung POV

In that moment, as Yn clung to me, I reassured her, "Yn, don't hurt yourself. Trust me; I'll try my best to make him love you. But promise me, you won't do this again." I spoke those words with a heavy heart, trying to hide the sadness within me. It was the first time I witnessed Yn in such despair, and the weight of her pain echoed in my own heart.

Yn was more than just a friend to me; she was the love of my life, a sentiment I kept locked away. My love for her spanned the entirety of our existence, unspoken and hidden. I wanted nothing more than her happiness, even if it meant being with someone else. As I saw her desperation to win Jungkook's love, I couldn't ignore the ache within me, realizing how deeply she cared for him.

In that vulnerable moment, I made a silent promise to myself - to support Yn in her quest for love, even if it meant helping her win the heart of another. My love for her transcended personal desires; it was an unspoken sacrifice for her happiness.

" I began, my voice gentle, "I know it hurts, and I can't imagine the pain you're going through. But harming yourself won't make the situation better. We can find another way, a healthier way, to deal with this." I continued to hold her, offering a silent reassurance that I would stand by her side, even if the path ahead seemed treacherous.

She looked up at me, her eyes reflecting a mixture of sorrow and determination. "Tae, I can't bear to see him with someone else. I need him to see that I'm the one who truly cares for him."

I sighed, acknowledging the complexity of the situation. "I'll do my best, Yn. I promise to help you, but we need to find a way to navigate this without causing more pain."

As we talked into the night, our words became a shared journey through the maze of emotions, weaving a delicate tapestry of understanding and support. In that moment, I vowed to be her pillar, to help her weather the storm of unrequited love, even if it meant sacrificing my own silent desires.

Y/n pov

Taehyung took my hand and led me to the couch, gently making me sit. He went to fetch the first aid kit and scolded me while tending to the cut on my hand. Despite the scolding, I couldn't help but feel grateful as I watched him care for me.

"Thank you, Tae. I'm lucky to have you as my best friend. Your girlfriend is so lucky," I said, appreciating the bond we shared. He responded, "No, I'm the lucky one to have her." His words warmed my heart, and I couldn't help but smile.

As he continued to treat my hand, I couldn't help but express my curiosity about his mysterious girlfriend. "When are you going to show me this mysterious girlfriend of yours?" I asked playfully. Tae chuckled and replied, "Yeah, I'll show you one day, Yn. Soon."

With a comforting pat on my shoulder, Tae encouraged me to eat. "Now, eat. You need to take care of yourself," he said, and I nodded,

Tae went to the kitchen and returned with some food. He took the role of a caring friend, feeding me and making sure I was alright. It was a simple yet meaningful gesture that spoke volumes about our friendship.

As he went to put the plates in the dishwasher, my phone rang. It was Jungkook calling. I answered and spoke to him briefly. After ending the call, Tae came over and asked about the caller.

"It was Jungkook. He invited me to his home for dinner tomorrow," I explained. Tae's reaction was unexpectedly positive. "Great! You should go," he encouraged. I hesitated, then suggested, "No, you also come with me.Tae questioned, "Why me, Yn? You go; I don't know him." Determined, I pleaded, "No, Tae, please. I need you with me." He nodded in agreement, agreeing to accompany me to Jungkook's dinner invitation.
