"So let me get this straight you found the vision and now your mission is to hide it?" Abel questioned
"Si, when you put it that way". Mirabel laughed
"No, no it's the only way to put it". Socorro stated
"You did all that without dying that's big". Miguel nodded
"He's right Mija you risked everything for your family even if it meant putting yourself in danger". Pedro smiled
"Si, I guess I did that". She smiled
" I'll tell you if she ever does That again we will put a leash on you young lady". Julieta looked stern and serious
"You can't be serious Mamá ". Mirabel looked anxiously up at her Mamá
"I am deadly serious ". She looked Mirabel in the eyes
"We are just glad you didn't die". Isabela breathed
"I would agree there with you Isa ". Julio agreed
"On another note did you sew that skirt of yours it looks gorgeous ". Imelda compliments
"Gracias, it really didn't take much just practice at all I had to do something to fill in my free time and this was my choice ". Mirabel blushed
"You should see her sketches they're amazing ". Camilo smiled
"No, it's okay Cami let's not fill their heads with nonsense ". Mirabel shook her head
"What I can't show my cousins talents off to new people ". Camilo replies
"Not that I don't mind your comments but maybe don't do it so much, you know being subtle ". Mirabel smiles
"No I think he's right they must look amazing, I mean you sewed that skirt yourself". Miguel complements
"Gracias". Mirabel blushed
"Okay I am gonna get some agua Fresca anyone want to come with me?" Julieta asked
"I'll come with you Julieta ". Luisa said
"Great". Julieta smiled
So with that the two women went to go grab the drinks while the rest stayed behind and enjoyed the break.
"Can you show some of your sketches please Mira?" Socorro begged
"Are you sure?" Mirabel asked
"Si". Socorro nodded
Mirabel smiled and grabbed her sketchbook out of her bag and opened it; On the first few pages were some designs of some dresses she was planning on making the next we're of some patterns of design and on the last pages were pictures of some stunning stuffed animals and dolies.
"Wow they look amazing Mija, when do you find time to do all this". Pedro was flabbergasted
"I make time, some of them I am still working on". Mirabel smiles
"Well they look amazing Mira". Miguel compliments
"Gracias". Mirabel thanked
Meanwhile over in the corner the girls were discussing how long it would take for Miguel to make a move.
"So how long do you think it would take for Him to finally make a move?" Dolores asked
"I'd say 6 days or he'll wait until we have to leave ". Rosa said
"I'd have to agree". Isabela laughed
The rest of the break was filled with laughter and smiles and the families seemed to be getting better at opening up and sharing.
Two minutes later the two Women came back with some delicious Auga Fresca for the group.
"So what are all these symbols on your skirt?" Manny asked
"Oh they are to represent my family and their gifts, the newest ones are Mi Papá, Tio Bruno and Tio Felix See?" She pointed the symbols on her skirt.
"That's very cheeky and subtle and you say subtle is not your strong suit". Abel laughed
"It guess it's my way of subtle ". Mirabel giggles
"It is very clever Hermanita ". Isabela smiled
"Gracias Isa ". She smiled
They looked over to the table and saw Pico smiling at them.
"Pico What are you doing here?" Antonio asked
The bird chittering in response.
"What did he say?" Coco asked
"He said he wanted to check on us and bring Mirabel's sewing kit". Antonio translates
"Oh I didn't know you kept a sewing kit in your bag Mija". Elena was surprised
"Of course you never when you might need it". She replies
"Ay that's where it went and here I thought Camilo had taken it". Mirabel rolled her eyes
"Rude much?" Camilo looked offended
"She is right though you steal her sewing kit more often than not sonbrino". Bruno stated
"How dare you". Camilo pouted
"Pico, how many have we been through this you can't sew your wings every time you loose a feather ". Mirabel rolls her eyes
"Wait birds can do that?" Julio looked surprised
"Si, but this one tends to get away with my sewing kit a lot ". Mirabel looked directly at the bird to blame
"He did say he is sorry ". Antonio piped
"Okay I can forgive him just this once but I don't want to happen it again si?" Mirabel asked
The toucan chirps as if to say ' Yes Miss I wont happen again'.
"Good". Mirabel nodded
"I think now that sewing kit fiasco has been solved we get back to the movie what do we say?" Layla said
They all nodded and the movie started off again ...
