The warm heat of the midday sun beams down onto the field below. Both teams ready their tanks for the opening bow. For this match, Alisa's tank was chosen to be flag while Cherry's was the one chosen for Rushmore
Both teams size each other up when met face to face. Alisa and Sparks share devilish grins. Naomi and Abigail both wear confident smirks. And Kay and Cherry nod at each other smiling
"Looks like they're getting along"
Amy chirps
"Hopefully it doesn't go sour"
Emily says
"I just want this to go smoothly."
Simone's monotone voice bubbles with uncertainty
"Don't worry you guys. We'll win."
Lee, smiling with confidence
Both teams bow and turn towards their starting lines
"Of course we will"
Kay pats his shoulder as they pass
Timeskip, starting positions
A flare soars through the sky as planes (Hellcats) fly across. The match has officially started.
"Move out!"
Kay shouts over coms.
"RIGHT!"
Each tank radios back
Every single one moves out in a triangle shaped convoy as the Locusts split off.
Rushmore's tanks move out in a more spread out yet compact formation. Each tank is around a couple 10 or 20 feet away from each other, enough space to form up and scatter when the need arises
Timeskip, 1:29
The radio flickers on as a light drizzle falls over the fields
"2 headed around your way, Miss Alisa"
Another commander reports
"Got'cha. You picked up on that Lee?"
Alisa asks
Lee remains silent. The turret traverses slightly, it's almost silent due to the rain masking the noise.
Alisa's tank sits alone on a hill, it's angled in a way that any shell from the front bounces right off. Lee aims down sight as a single Stuart moves across the field.
Lee steadies himself. And. Fires
"Bang!"
The Stuart erupts into smoke, and it's white flag flies up
"One."
Lee hops up
"Lee! Where ya going?!"
Emily calls out
Lee hops out of the tank, then sprays the barrel with a single line. His first official knock out.
"That's a target in our backs."
Alisa says, dressed in her camo raincoat
"Gotta start somewhere, right?"
Lee giggles like a doofus
Timeskip 1:47
"Elusive..."
Naomi's voice filled with agitation
"Patience."
Kay radios through
Kay and Naomi's squads sweep the grounds. They haven't encountered Rushmore at all. Both grow more paranoid by the second.
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Four shots ring out from the treeline. It's Rushmore's T14s, a Stuart and a Hellcat.
They take out two Shermans as the rest hold their ground and fire while they reload
"Night night~"
Naomi seductively says
One of the T14s goes down as the others retreat.
"Nuh uh!"
Kay orders
Her tank fires, knocking out the Stuart
The T14 and Hellcat take off but the T14 is knocked out. And the Hellcat is riddled with machine gun fire.
"Miss us?"
Alisa taunts over the radio
"Nope!"
Both Kay and Naomi respond
"Dibs!"
Naomi fires off a shot and knocks out the Hellcat
They cheer in unison as Alisa's tank reconvenes with the others.
