"Ugh, what time is it?"
Kay said, grabbing her phone from her nightstand
"7:30? Already?"
She groaned as she got up out of bed
Flashback
"Either way, I'm with you. Always"
Kay thought back to what Lee said yesterday, "does he really mean that?" she thought to herself
"It's the weekend anyway, might as well have some me time"
Kay said putting on her jacket
Timeskip, at the local strip mall
"Dang, this place is packed today"
Students and adults alike fill the strip mall, nearly anywhere you walk you are met with a crowd
"Just when I wanted to have some me time"
Kay sighed to herself, walking away rejected
"Hey! Kay!"
A distant voice called out to her
Kay turned to face the one calling her realizing it to be Lee, gesturing for her to come over
"I didn't think I'd run into you here"
Lee said
"Me either, I was planning on hanging out here but I guess that's out the window"
She said looking back in the crowded mall
Both stood silent, until Lee thought of something
"I know a great place for milkshakes, wanna come?"
Lee asked her
"The little family restaurant by Lincoln Avenue?"
Kay guessed
"Yeah? You've been there?"
Lee asked sounding slightly disappointed
"Once with the girls, never really went back after"
"So. Do you still wanna go?"
Lee asked again
"I didn't say no, did I?"
She replied
The two walked for a while talking to each other about their personal matters
"I've been thinking of moving out of the male dorm"
Lee said
"Why? You have the entire space to yourself?"
Kay asked
"That's the problem, Eddie lives a luxury apartment, while I'm alone in the male dorm"
Lee answered, sounding slightly angry
Kay started thinking to herself, "What if he moved in with me?", she quickly shook her head at the thought
"You okay? Something in your hair?"
Lee asked
"N-No it's nothing"
She said scratching at her cheek
"No, there is something DEFINITELY. In your hair, lemme get it"
Lee put his hand on Kay's head, pulling out a little bug from her hair
"Your hair is so thick you could lose something in it!"
He giggled to himself
