Karan’s pov
“I know.. i know Karan.. calm down..” he said and sanket entered
“Bhai kisne kiya hai yeh..” he asked
“Aur kon.. voh mehra hi hoga.” Rishabh said and i shook my head
“That fucking asshole..” sanket gritted his teeth..
“Nhi.. he was not the one.. it’s Tejasswi’s stepfather.. that idiot..” i said and they looked confused.. i told them everything
“You love Tejasswi.. don’t you ?” Sanket asked and i looked away
“I do..” i replied after a few minutes..
“But I feel like a failure.. main yeh sab se bacha skta tha use..” i said and rishabh held my shoulder
“Aisa ni hai.. you were not aware about it..” he said and sanket nodded
“Aap insan ho.. bhgwan ni jo aap saari problems ko door se hi bhaga skte ho.. and please.. confess it to her that you love her..” he said
“and what are you gonna do about her step dad..” he asked and i took out my phone.. i called someone
“i need a man..” i said and told him all about the situation..
“mujhe aaj raat tak voh insaan chahiye.. do whatever you want to..” i said and ended the call..
“Let’s go to Tejasswi..” rishabh said
“Tum jao..I’ll come..” i said and they shook their head
“abhi bhi doubt hai kya kisi cheez ko leke tujhe..” rishabh said and i shook my head
“Nahi.. i feel guilty.. kaash maine uspe gussa ni kiya hota.. i wish maine itne assumptions na lagaye hote.. toh aaj voh is condition mein ni hoti..” i said
“Agar voh is condition mein ni hoti.. toh kya aap yeh accept krte ki aapko usse pyaar hai..” sanket said
“nahi krte.. denial mein jeete ho.. day 1 se hum sbko aapko future pta tha.. but ek aap hi denial mein the.. lekin aaj use is condition mein dekh ke aapko bhi realise ho gya ki aap usse kitna pyaar krte ho aur use kbhi ni kho skte.. aur ab aap uske mehra ke ps jaane wale logic ko bhi smjh jaoge..” he said and i nodded.. we all went back to the penthouse where manav bhai was sitting beside unnati and she was all tensed
“Relax unnati.. she’s fine..” i said and she nodded
“It’s getting late guys.. i think you should go and rest..”
“You sure ?” Manav bhai asked and i nodded.. they all left soon and i went to the bedroom.. i stood near the door looking at her..
I went near her and sat beside her.. i caressed her hair and kissed her forehead.. i kept sitting beside her.. after about an hour.. i felt a movement in her hand.. she opened her eyes slowly and tried getting up.. i helped her sit straight.. i sat in front of her and pulled her in a hug.. i kissed her head and caressed her back.
“Thank god tum thik hoon Tejasswi..” i said, pulling back from the hug.. i held her by her neck and kissed her forehead
“Main thik hun Karan..” Tejasswi said and i shook my head
“You’re not.. you scared me Tejasswi..” i said and she looked at me
“itne saare bruises.. you literally scared me..” i said and she looked me.. we had a deep eye contact.. not being able to resist any longer.. i slammed my lips on hers.. she reciprocated the kiss immediately and moved her lips against mine.. i kissed her hard and thrusted my tongue in her mouth.. we parted when we were out of breath.. i touched my forehead with her..
“never ever scare me again Tejasswi..” i said and she sighed.. i got up and made her stand up..
“let’s get you freshened up..”
“Mere kapde nhi hai..” she said and i nodded
“Meri shirt chalegi ?” I asked and she shrugged and i gave her my shirt.. i picked her up bridal style and she yelped and looked at me shocked
“you have sprain in hand and ankle.. so i m gonna help you..” i said and she looked away..
I made her sit on the counter top.. and turned around.. she removed her top and was now just in her camisole.. but now.. her bruises were more visible and i felt enraged by that..
“Karan.. trust me.. main thik hun..” she said and i nodded
I prepared a bathtub for her.. while it was getting filled i went towards her
“Tejasswi.. us din.. m gusse mein tha.. but all i wanted was to protect you.. he is.. he is a crazy man.. you don’t have any idea voh kis had tak gir skta hai.. i was tensed for you.. i had to keep u away from all that.. isliye i had to say all those things.. i know i was hurting you but i had to do that.. trust me..” i said and she cupped my face
