to pinpoint you
out of a crowd
would you be able
to diagnosticate
the shape of my eyes
or the radiant brown
of my skin?
i have not spoken to you
or seen you
in 903 days
nearly one thousand long days
you assuredly
must have undergone
some form
of emotional development
maybe your words
are softer
maybe you
went to therapy
and faced
your mommy issues
perhaps you have not
changed a thing
all while i
have been battling
with healing from
your egotistical veil
over reality
