Y/n POV I sighed as I scrolled through my emails. I responded to a few, but that was boring so I got on twitter and it was nothing going on their either. We had a bye-week, so everybody had went home to see the families or whatever and I was here bored. I checked my iMessage app again seeing I was still left on delivered. I smacked my lips, before going to grab a wine cooler out of the Kitchen. My phone dinged making me jump and look up to see who it was. It wasn't who I wanted though. "Damn. She really hate me for real," I said as I opened the other text I received. It was from my teammate Rhyne, who I rarely spoke with so that shocked me a little. Rhyne was cool but her and I just weren't that close compared to others on the team.
Rhyne: Hey y/n/n you busy? Y/n/n: nah what's up Rhy? Rhyne: you tryna hang out? I'm bored and I realized we never hang out for real Y/n/n: bet, you tryna come over now?
It took her a while to text back so I hopped on TikTok for a while. My phone dinged again before it started ringing. I answered, after setting my drink down. "What's good?" I said as her face appeared, smiling. "Hey, Y/n/n. Did you see my text?" She said as I shook my head. I swiped up and realized she had text me back. "Oh my bad honey Ian even see it. But I can't come over, my teammate tryna hang out," I said as she rolled her eyes. "You can't rain check them? Y'all see each other all the time. "Don't do thattt fix your face baby. And it's one I don't really hang with a lot. I promise we can do whatever you want tomorrow okay?" I said as she nodded. "Alright pretty girl. It's your world," she said making me blush. "You're so sweet to me, I love you, imma call you back later okay?" I said as she nodded. I saw that rhy texted me back and said she was on her way to my house. I cleaned up a bit and sprayed air freshener, making sure her first time over would be a good one. I had plenty of snacks being that I just went grocery shopping so I had everything we could need tonight. I turned on the tv and put Good old faithful, law and order svu to pass time. I posted a picture of myself on instagram since I hadn't in a while before giving the show my undivided attention.

About ten minutes later there was a knock at the door and I froze realizing I wasn't dressed properly. I had on nothing but a large hoodie and some boy-shorts. I sighed and went to grab the door, pulling the edge of the large garment. "Hey Rhy!" I said as she smiled seeing me. She looked so good, especially with this turban, and now I knew I needed to check myself. This was my damn teammate I'm talking about.

"Hey y/n/n. It smells so good in here oh my gosh," she said as I stepped out the way to let her in. "Thanks, it's probably that candle. It's from A'ja candle brand," I said as she nodded. "I'll be right back I'm finna go get dressed. The remote is right there, snacks in the pantry, make yourself comfortable," I said as she smiled nodding. I ran upstairs and groaned once I realized today was supposed to be laundry day. I grabbed my old college sweats and tank top to charge into and joined Rhyne back downstairs. When I came down she had it on SpongeBob making me laugh. "Are we in fifth grade?" I joked as she laughed, shrugging. "This is pure comedy girl," she spoke, finally looking at me. Her eyes lowered before flickering back to the tv. Butterflies erupted in my stomach from that look. What the hell y/n?! I sat next to her on the couch before I decided I wanted the blanket. I reached over her lap, but I still couldn't reach it. My arm slipped off the edge of the couch, causing me to fall flat on her as she tried to catch me. "You good?"she asked laughing.
Rhyne Howard Now lord why would you test me like this. Y/n bent over me reaching for something and I tried my hardest to watch SpongeBob and pay her no attention, but I could t help but stare at all the ass in my face. I wanted to grab it so bad, but I kept my composure, until she slipped and fell into me. We laughed about it before realizing we were close as fuck. I couldn't help myself anymore and I grabbed her face as she meant in kissing me. It lasted for all of twenty seconds before she pulled away. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry Rhy," she began apologizing as I smiled, licking my lips. "You good y/n. I promise I would've told you if Ian like it," I said as she laughed a bit. Her phone rang interrupting our moment and she answered it. "I said I was hanging with my fiend tonight Ray. So why do you keep blowing my phone up then. Your not my girlfriend! Yeah imma choose her over you what you mean? It's gang over love baby," she said before hanging up. "That's your situation-ship?" I asked as she sighed shaking her head. "That's not my anything. You could be though?" She said as I was taken back. "Well damn. Alright, we can vibe and see where this goes. One rule though," I said as she nodded eagerly. "This doesn't leak into work. I don't play about my money and I'm sure you don't either," I said as she nodded ferociously. "Oh a hundred percent. I got you Rhy," I said as I wrapped my arms around her waist, with her laying on me the rest of the night as we watched sponge bob.
