Jackie pov
"Jack, can you ride with me to go pick up my friend from the airport?" A'ja asked as a laid on her couch stuffing my face with popcorn. I sat my phone down and looked at her fully ready to head out the door.
"Yeah, what friend you got coming to Vegas?" I said cause A was known for doing that thing your grandma does. You know, have a man for 50-11 years and still call them they 'little friend'.
"Not like that! One of my old college friends, y/n. She got tickets to watch us play Dallas tomorrow but all the hotels are booked so she staying with me," she said as I nodded. I looked down at my outfit and smiled as I followed her out the house. I had on a black crop top, showing off my new back tart, some Nike shorts and my ugg slippers. I hopped in the passenger seat of A's car and her sad - fake depressed ass played Rod wave's new album the whole way there. Once we got they she pulled into the pickup bay and parked while we waited.
"So what you plan on doing with Rylo tomorrow?" She asked referring to my new puppy.
"Im waiting on Terri to text me back now but if not I'll just let him be out live mascot for the day," I said as she laughed.
"Now that would be fun. Oh there she go!" She said as she unlocked her car doors. I turned to look out the window and was shocked at the person walking towards the car. She looked familiar but I don't know why. Once she approached I rolled the window down smiling.
"Hey, you can take the front,"I said being that she was Noticeably taller than me.
"It's alright, thank you though," she said as she opened the back seat to toss her bag in.
"A! Wassup man I missed you," she said as A'ja smiled hard.
"I knowww! I missed you too y/n/n. I gotta call Lish she not gone believe you here right now. This is my bestie and teammate Jackie, Jack this is my friend Y/n," she introduced us as she headed to her house.
"Nice to meet you," she said as I smiled nodding. From there they played catchup as I scrolled through twitter. I landed on a post that I couldn't help but chuckle out loud.
"What you laughing at?" A asked as I waited for her to stop at the light before showing her the tweet.

"Oh they got jokes! They be fouling the hell outta me shit! I gotta celebrate them And-1's," she said making us all laugh.
"They do be getting all yo lil emotions on the camera too A," y/n said as I turned around to talk to her.
"And do," I said as she laughed.
"Shoot why ion never see none of you ms. Young?" She said as I shrugged.
"I just be doing my job. I don't really feel the need to," I said as A smacked her lips.
"Naw Jackie just strong as hell. She don't be feeling the contact for real," she said squeezing my bicep, as I smacked her hand.
"Oh I'm already knowing. Them finished at the basket be tooo nasty. You really tuff with it," she complimented as I smiled.
"Thanks I appreciate it," I said as she winked at me.
"Any time," A interrupted us as she parked.
"Uh un. Stop flirting and get out of my car," she said as I laughed opening my door. I walked towards the Josie first, with A and y/n behind me.
"Damn," I heard y/n mumbled making me turn around curiously, to find her looking at my ass. I shook my head, chuckling to myself as we walked into the house. I stayed for another fifteen minutes before I got the text that Rylo was ready to be picked up from the groomers.
"Alright I will see y'all tomorrow, I gotta go pick up my son," I said as y/n looked confused.
"You got a kid?" She asked as I shook my head.
"I meant my dog, haha," I said as she nodded.
"Oh that's what's up, what kind?"
"He's a Great Dane, a puppy though," I told her as she walked towards the door, walking me out essentially.
"Oh thats cool I've always wanted one of those!" She said as A butted in.
"You should watch Jackie's dog tomorrow. Your on the side lines right?" She asked as Y/n nodded.
"If your down I am?" She said as I agreed.
"That's cool with me. I'll just bring him to pregame shoot around so you can meet us there to get him," I said before leaving out.

"Rylo. Come here boy," I said as I hooked his harness onto the leash.
"You ready to come to work?" I cooed as he tried to jump up on me. I held him up, quite literally looking him in his eyes.
