Y/N Jones "Kah, how's my baby mama doing?" I asked as I spooned some peach yogurt into my mouth. She chuckled as she dribbled beige pulling up to shoot the ball. "She's doing good. We almost to the finish line," she spoke smiling brightly. It made me so happy seeing my friends enjoy their journey to becoming parents. "That's good. I can't wait to see lil baby Kah," I said as she laughed. "How's everything going with A'ja?" She asked as I rolled my eyes. "I don't wanna talk about her," I mumbled eating another scoop of yogurt. "What? What's happened?" She said shocked as I shook my head. "She pissed me clean the fuck off yesterday. Honestly, I'm thinking about ending this shit right where it's at," I complained as she looked at me like I was crazy. "Whoah I like her for you. What happened to say that?" She asked now sitting next to me. "I don't know Kahleah. Like I don't know if I'm tripping but I feel like she's hiding me. The fact that I can legit count on my hands the amount of people that know about our relationship and we've been dating for eight months is wild to me," I said as she sighed nodding. "Nah that's understandable," she said leaning back. "I mean talk to her y/n/n. She might think yall are good, but let her know how to feel. Talk about it like adults and go from there," she said as I smiled at her. "Kahleah Freaking Copper, giving me relationship advice? Who would have known," I teased as she smiled holding her left hand up that adorned a tattoo of her wife, Binta's name on her ring finger. "You see me. In due time youngin," she said making me chuckle. Kah was one of the first people I really clicked with in the league, her being my vet. We only had a four year age difference, but despite that we were closer than ever. My phone rang and I picked it up, seeing it was A'ja calling. I quick looked to Kah who was already staring at me. "Answer that woman and stop being childish," she said as I sighed clicked the green button. "Wassup?" I answered as Kahleah Smacked the back of my head, as A'ja smacked her lips. "I'm not one of your friends y/n. Don't wassup me. Anyways, are you busy baby?" She said as I shook my head as if she could see me. "Naw I'm chilling with Kah right now, what do you need?" She chuckled and said a quick hi to Kah before continuing. "If you're not busy, I've been wanting to talk to you. I miss you so much boo," it had been a while since we'd last seen each other in person, going on three weeks now. Our game schedules had not been kind to us since after all-star break. "I miss you too babygirl. We'll figure something out. I might try to come to your Indy game this weekend as long as my schedule clears. Plus I want to sit down and have a real conversation with you," I said as Kah threw her hands up shaking her head no. I motioned as if I was confused. "What?" I mouthed as I heard A'ja yell at Deuce in the background before giving me her attention. "Talk about what baby?" She asked as I chuckled. "Don't worry about it A. I'll call you back in a little bit okay? I'm gonna go get some food. I love you," I said as I heard her laugh a little. "I love you more baby. Be safe, and let me know when you make it home," "I will baby, bye," I said before hanging up. "Now goofy. Why the hell would you say that.? You gone make that girl start worrying,"She said as I chuckled. "Good. She need to worry cause my feelings dead ass be hurt. I'm done being her secret," I said as she nodded. "I get you. Wanna go get sushi?" She asked as I nodded. "Oh you talking my language now. Where we going?" I asked as we walked toward the locker room to change into our regular clothes.
