"So what did the test say?" Danni ask as she pulled her laptop from her bookbag. Fatima was sitting on the couch watching tv when Danni came in from her class.
Fatima pretended as if she didn't hear Danni and focused in on the tv.
"T?" Danni called out for her
"Yeah?" Fatima says turning finally giving her attention
"Did you take the test? What did it say?" Danni ask again
"Oh yeah I took it" she says "It was negative" Fatima tells her
"You took both?" Danni ask
"Yeah, I took the other one when Zac came back. They both were negative" she lied.
It had been a few days since they confirmed the pregnancy at the ER visit but Danni hadn't been home since, only to run in and run out. Fatima told Zac that it was best for them to keep it to themselves for a little while. She wanted to focus on herself before everyone bombarded her.
As much as she supported Andi through her pregnancy, she knew she would get the same in return but she wasn't ready for that. She still needed time to process it.
"So you just a nasty sick dog" Danni says sitting at the table turning her laptop on
"They said I had a stomach virus but I feel better. That shit tried to take me out" Fatima says
"One thing about you and Andrea, I have to stay away because y'all either end up pregnant or just sick. I don't need either." Danni expressed and Fatima laughed
"I'm not contagious and I'm no longer sick. Speaking of Andi. She's suppose to bring Amani over while Robin is at work." Fatima says looking at the time on her phone.
"A whole baby." Danni says in awe " I swear we should've bet on who would have the first kid. Then again I'm glad we didn't because my money would've been on your ass" Danni says laughing
"Your ass would've lost miserably" Fatima says "You keep speaking that over me. What about you and Pres huh? You pratically live with the nigga and I know damn well-
"Ain't no damn well nothing" Danni interjects "Safe sex is great sex" Danni says smiling proudly
"Yeah okay liar" Fatima says and her phone rang
"Hey" she answered
"I'm on break. What you doing?" Zac ask
"Sitting here talking to Danni and waiting on Andi to bring the baby" she tells him
"You're going to tell them together?" Zac ask and Fatima thought it be best to move to another room. She got up from the couch to walk to her room with the phone to her ear
"Nobody want to hear y'all nasty ass conversation anyways" Danni yelled out
"Babe I said we're not telling anyone yet" Fatima says as she closed her room door
"I thought you said that night we found out we weren't going to tell anyone" Zac says in confusion
"Noo what do you mean? I said we should wait a little" she says and she heard him mumble "damn" as he exhaled out
"Babe" Fatima whined
"I only told Rob that's all" he comes out to say "Im sorry babe" he says as Fatima stood quietly on the other end of the phone
"Babe?" Zac called her "You're mad at me?" He ask
"Im not mad but we agreed." She says
"I did but I was confused. I swear I was but I told him to not tell A because you were going to tell her" he says and Fatima took a deep breath
