A few weeks had passed. Demetrius and Fatima were comfortable in their relationship. Fatima had Meech wrapped around her fingers and he liked it that way. Meech would flaunt Fatima out and around campus. That was something she wasn't necessarily use to at the degree at which he was doing it. Her and Zac would be around campus together but Meech makes sure everyone knows that Fatima is all his. His public broadcast was enough for some to back off but for others, they loved the challenge especially if they knew what Fatima didn't know about Meech.
"Do you really have to go?" Fatima whined out at him.
"Yes T you know that" Meech says kissing her pouting lips
"And why can't I go with you?" She ask
"Babe it's a Greek event and plus I'm sharing a room with my linebrother." Meech says. He was going to a National Greek Conference at Howard University. All the organizations from Georgia State University were going.
"That's so many days, you aren't going to miss me?" Fatima ask
"You know imma miss you girl stop the front" he tells her as she sits on his lap.
"But then you come back here for that picnic, so you telling me I won't basically get to see you for a week" Fatima says. When Meech comes back from DC, there's a BIG picnic that happens each year and Greeks from the entire east coast and some from the west coast come to Atlanta.
"Stop, you know imma come to see you as soon as we land back in the state. Plus imma call you everyday when I can. If I could take you with me, best believe I would" he tells her but he was happy that he couldn't.
Fatima rolled her eyes "Whateverrrr" she says
"And then you told me you got a few exams this week so I won't be here to distract you as you say" he says with air quotes
"I guess you're right, I'll just miss you" she says
"And I will miss you more. I'll see you in 4 days" he says at the door before they share a kiss and he leaves.
"Uuggghhhh" Fatima days after closing the front door and standing behind it
"You're so hooked on him" Andi says
"I knew when she finally stopped playing around with him, she wouldn't want to get up off him" Danni says drinking her smoothie. Andi shook her head and rolled her eyes.
Andi did not dislike Meech but she was always Team Zac. She couldn't voice that opinion because Zac had his shit with him when it came to him and Fatima, so Andi just kept her vote quiet. She was never overbearing and she wasn't into pressuring for relationships, she liked the natural flow of things.
Danni was always more blunt and verbal about everything. She didn't hate Zac either but she seen that Meech was a fresh feel for Fatima and supported it all the way.
" Four long days" Fatima groaned
"The man hasn't even left the state yet and you ready to cry" Andi says
"That's what good dick will make you do" Danni says
"D shut up" Fatima says laughing
"No this girl talking like she ain't ready to follow Robin to Howard" Danni says
"He's not leaving right away so I get another day with him" Andi brags shrugging her shoulders
"I thought everyone was leaving today" Fatima says
"Not everyone, Robin said their flight is tomorrow at 2. He said that the first day of it all isn't until the day after tomorrow. What's that? Tuesday?" Andi says thinking it through, it was Sunday midday.
"Oh okay" Fatima says
"Yeah Robin said nothing is happening until Tuesday so it was no point of them leaving all early" Andi says
"Meech made it seem like it was a must he had to leave today" Fatima says
"I think some other organizations are leaving today too so I don't know. I just know I'm staying with my man tonight" Andi sings with her eyes fluttering.
"I just know you're going to be the first one to pop one out" Danni says
"Pop one what out?" Andi ask confused
"A damn baby" Danni says to her. Both Andi and Fatima's eyes popped out.
"How the hell we get to that conversation, don't speak no shit over me like that" Andi says
"Shit I ain't speaking nothing but the truth. You hype to go over there because you know you getting dicked down" Danni says and Fatima laughs
"See this is where I leave the room" Andi says shaking her head
"She ain't lying A. You and Rob basically married. You know what they say is next" Fatima says with her eyebrows raised
"I'M IN COLLEGE" Andi says loudly
"Yeah and we'll be out of here soon. They say the years fly" Danni says
"Yeah time is definitely flying." Fatima agrees
"I'm just saying I got my money on you being the first of all of us to have a baby. I'm not saying it'll happen now, I'm just saying you'll be the first. Calm down hoe"Danni says
"I'll put my money on it too" Fatima says adding fuel to the fire
"You better put money on you and Meech, like everybody don't know how y'all be getting down" Andi says back
"Woah now, that's too far" Fatima says with her hands up laughing
"Yeah so let's keep the baby conversations to a minimum" Andi says walking away from them.
Danni and Fatima look at eachother before point her direction
"First" They both say in unison agreeing that she'd be the first to have a baby. They both poked fun at her having a pregnancy scare just a week back so that's why Andi became irritated.
Hours passed and Meech text Fatima to tell her that he landed in DC. She was happy to see his name light up her screen. She couldn't lie, it's only been a few hours and she missed him already.
She made she she responded back to his text with "make sure you call me when you get a chance, I wanna hear your voice imu"
Fatima sat on her bed with chips and a water while she studied.
