I was inspired to write this by a hashtag on Twitter posted by my friend Julia. Dedicated to Julia, Nic, Sandy and Chris, with my love.
Five friends did go exploring
Around this sainted isle,
And found more than adventures
To make the trips worthwhile.
With friendships forged and laughs galore,
And fun, and food, and cake,
The times we spend together
Are special, make no mistake.
There's nothing quite like finding
Like-minded folk to share,
Good times and double-entendres,
With naughtiness to spare.
We tease, we chat, we lend an ear,
We snort, and giggle all day.
So here's to more adventures;
Our friendship's here to stay.
