A friendly miaow
To wake him now;
Some loving purrs
But nothing stirs.
A change of tack:
A kindly thwack.
He must awake
Make no mistake,
But still he sleeps
Immune to leaps.
What have we here?
My gosh an ear!
A caring pull
And stretched out full
And then let go
But nothing, no!
A last resort,
Some help is sought:
A baseball bat,
A gentle pat,
At last success:
He wakes, oh yes!
Hello. Who me?
It could not be,
But now you're free
Please, just feed me!
