Chapter 12: It's been awhile, Old friend

Tomioka's POV

"Time for the hunt to begin"

I unleashed my demon art and decided to start hunting down the demon slayer that enters my teritory.

As time passed I managed to kill around 20 Demon Slayers. They were as weak as I thought, as I was cleaning up the blood from my hand & face I heard a rustling coming from the bushes. I turned around to see nothing until I looked above to see another demon slayer about to attack me but I blocked it.

I was surprised to see.. "It's been awhile, Old friend"

It was Sabito. My friend for so long, I haven't seen him in awhile. But why do I still remember him but not that Tanjiro boy? It really hurts my brain just thinking about it.

"It really has been a while, Sabito. I'm guessing Makomo is here as well" I said.

Sabito jumped off again and landed on the ground standing face to face with me. And Makomo walked out behind the tree looking at me.

Sabito's POV

He still remembers me and Makomo but not Tanjiro. It seems like the memories that were erased were memories of Tanjiro. It was not his fault for getting his memories of Tanjiro erased but rather it was the Demon King himself. Seeing Tanjiro hurt really makes me want to let out all my anger on him. I tried to hold my anger in but I could feel Makomo holding my hand.

I looked at her and I knew that she was saying that "It's alright just calm down" I took a deep breath and stayed calm.

"I missed you two so much!" Tomioka said.

"You really don't remember him do you?" I asked him.

Tomioka looked confused and asked. "Who?"

"I'm talking about Tanjiro you idiot" I said in a serious tone.

"Tanjiro? Do you know him? Apparently Shinobu said the same thing about it to me. Do I really know him?" He said.

I ran up to him and punched him in the face. Tomioka fell on the ground and looked surprised to see me mad at him for punching him in the face. Of course Makomo decided to stand between us.

"You two stopped fighting." Makomo said. "Tch." I turned around and walked towards the tree and leaned on it.

Makomo's POV

As I looked at Sabito leaning on the wall. I turned around and helped Giyuu get up, it seems like he was shocked to see Sabito this mad. After all, I don't blame him for it. I just hope to see him remember a bit of Tanjiro at least a bit until the potion is done and made.

"Why did sabito punch me..?" Tomioka was holding his cheek where Sabito punched him.

"He is just mad about something, that's all" I said.

"Are you sure it's not about this Tanjiro person?" He looked at me. 

"It's fine, you don't need to worry about Sabito." I lied to him.

I know lying was not my thing but I have to rest assure him about it because he doesn't know anyone with that name. He only remembers the name and not the face.

"I'm sorry Tomioka san but please wait longer so we can finally have your memories back and take revenge on whoever did this to you."

I turned to look at Sabito and then turned towards Tomioka. "Tomioka I'm going to tend Sabito's wound for a bit"

Tomioka nodded and I walked towards Sabito.

Hello My readers! I wanted to say that I'm sorry if I have not posted anything in 2 months. Because I was busy prepping for chapter 12.5 , 13 & 14 because it is almost already half a year when this fanfic was made! On the Month of September, I consider this the anniversary of the day when this fanifc was released and I was happy to make this!! But thank you all so much for the love & support to have given to this fanfic.
