Bad At Things Like This

I'm sorry

But I don't know the words to say

To cheer you up

And brighten that sad face

I'm terribly bad

At things like this

I guess I can say

That whatever it is, you'll miss

It's not the end

And I'm right here with you

We can do this together

And make it through

I just don't know, I'm sorry

But this isn't my specialty

My words can confuse

And distort sense and reality

I really don't mean for you to cry

I know I suck, and no matter how hard I try

I have no luck

But don't worry, it's okay

I'll do whatever I can

To brighten that sad face

I'm here with you now

And I'll be here 'til the end

We'll get through this together
