Chapter 1

Chara's POV

As the human stood up from the bed of golden flowers, my ethereal form hidden in the shadows, I watched them closely. The fall seemed to have left them disoriented, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of concern for the human I knew so little about.

"Get a grip," they muttered, their voice trembling slightly. "This place is just bizarre, that's all."

I wanted to reach out, to let them know that they were not alone, but my ghostly existence kept me bound to the underground, unable to offer any comfort or guidance.

As the human took a deep breath, their determination to push forward impressed me. They were unlike most humans who fell into the underground, showing strength even in the face of uncertainty.

As they explored the dimly lit corridors, the feeling of being watched weighed on them, and I couldn't blame them. After all, it was true. I had been observing them from the moment they arrived, drawn to this mysterious newcomer.

I yearned to reveal myself, to let them know that there was a friendly presence in this strange realm, but I hesitated. The underground was filled with danger, and I couldn't risk interfering with their journey.

Just as they turned a corner, I took a deep breath, gathering my courage to make contact. In a soft, whispery voice, I reached out to them. "Hello?"

Y/N's POV

My heart skipped a beat, and I froze, trying to make sense of what I'd heard. "Who's there? Show yourself!" I called out, my voice wavering.

Silence greeted me in response, and for a moment, I thought I had imagined the voice. But then it came again, the soft whisper echoing in my ears.

I took a cautious step back, my eyes scanning the area for any signs of life. "This isn't funny," I said, my voice tinged with nervousness. "Who's playing tricks on me?"

Yet, as I looked around, there was no one to be seen. Confusion and disbelief washed over me, and I began to doubt my own senses.

"What's going on?" I muttered, my heart still racing. "Am I losing it?"

Even as I questioned my sanity, the voice persisted, its softness giving way to a sense of urgency. It was as if someone was trying to reach out to me, but there was no one there.

I felt a chill run down my spine, and without thinking, I jumped back, startled by the inexplicable presence. My eyes darted around the empty space, trying to find the source of the voice.

But there was nothing, just the empty underground with its eerie silence. "This can't be real," I whispered to myself, feeling a mix of fear and fascination. "Am I hearing things?"

"This can't be real," they whispered, their voice barely audible. "Am I hearing things?"

In that moment, I wished I could reach out and reassure them. But instead, all I could do was watch from the shadows, my presence unknown to them. I couldn't risk revealing myself, not when I knew so little about the human and their journey.

As they took a deep breath, trying to regain their composure, I decided to stay hidden for the time being. Maybe it was for the best. Interfering with their path through the underground might have unintended consequences, and I didn't want to make things more complicated for them.

With a final glance around, the human shook their head slightly, as if trying to shake off the strange encounter. "I must be imagining things," they muttered to themselves, their tone more determined now.

As they continued their exploration of the underground, my ethereal form followed silently from a distance. The underground had been a place of despair for so long, but with the human's arrival, a glimmer of hope seemed to emerge. Their actions showed kindness and compassion towards the monsters they encountered, something that touched me deeply.

I couldn't help but wonder about their past, their life on the surface, and what had led them to this place. But my own knowledge was limited to the confines of the underground.

Then I heard that voice

"Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!"
