Third Person's Point Of View

After a few minutes, Rain saw the alpha hurriedly open the cafè's door, panting. When their eyes met, Rain showed him a small, guilty wave.

Rain made way to Phayu but made way to the back first. When Rain got back, he saw him carrying a cooing baby on his arms. And Phayu swore that his heart skipped a bit.

"P'Phayu! You're here.." Rain greeted, smiling at the alpha. Phayu walked towards their direction and exchanged looks between his omega and the baby.

"Hi, baby. Oh, and who's this little cutie?" He's your pup, stupid alpha. Rain thinks.

"Oh, uhm, this is Zeus. He's four years old, turning five." Rain replied. He was about to speak when all of a sudden, Zeus babbled. "Dada! Dada!"

Phayu was taken aback. "O– oh? Is he referring to me?"

"Yesh, yesh! Dada, you!" The pup giggled, immediately capturing Phayu's heart.

"Baby, what did we talk about when two adults are talking?" Rain calmly said, using his 'Mom' voice on the baby.

Zeus pouted. "Sowwy.. Appa said that Zeus shouldn't interrupt adults when talking.." Rain melted and cooed. He felt proud of himself for raising an intelligent child. Or well, maybe it was Phayu's genes acting up..?

Rain smiled. "Very good, baby Zeus. And oh, P'Phayu.. I hope you don't mind him calling you 'Dada', he's just friendly to everyone.." He turned to Phayu and gave an apologetic look in advance.

"I certainly won't, Rain. So, what do you want me to do with this little cutie?" Phayu responded, eyes not leaving Zeus.

"It's up to you, P'Phayu. You can stay here at the cafè or you can take him out and bond with him for a while until I close the cafè.. Is it okay?" The omega replied.

Phayu nodded. "Sure, Rain. We'll just go to the mall instead. We don't want to distract you here. Oh, where are his parents?" We are his parents, P'Phayu. Rain thought.

"Oh uhm, they're out of town! Yes, right. They left Zeus with me and told me to take care of him for the timebeing." The omega lied, trying not to be obvious in front of the older.

Phayu was suspicious but shrugged it off. He then nodded at Rain and picked up Zeus. And Rain swore that he felt himself tearing up at the sight.

Phayu and Zeus made their way out of the cafè, waving goodbye to Rain. "Byebye, Appa! I love you!" Zeus said, making a finger heart with his cute, chubby fingers.

"I love you too, little monster." He replied, but only enough for himself to hear.

Rain felt himself tearing up and quickly fixed himself before returning at the counter. For the first time in four years, he once again felt complete and contented.

"Hi, Zeus. Are you feeling okay, little boy?" Phayu asked, trying to put up a light atmosphere around them.

Zeus smiled at him and his chubby cheeks perk up. "Yesh, Dada!" The pup replied, playing with his toy cars.

"Haha, okay okay. So, where do you want to go, little dude? Tell Dada." The alpha asked, feeling suspiciously comfortable around the toddler.

"Mcdo! Mcdo! I want aish cweam, Dada." Zeus' eyes lit up as he mentioned his favorite food. It made Phayu see his younger self in him. Oho, we have the same favorite place. Phayu thinks.

"Mcdonald's it is, then. Let's go!" Phayu exclaimed, making Zeus copy his enthusiasm. Oh, he's sure that today is going to be so much fun!
