Chapter 21

"P' Kom? Why is he calling you again... I don't allow you to go back to work for them," Itt complained when Day hung up the phone.

"He isn't asking me to come back to work. He just has some business he would like to discuss with me. So, I've asked him to come to my house tomorrow," Day said. Itt frowned.

"You better be telling the truth," Itt said just in time for Kim to come out of the kitchen. He had finished washing the dishes.

"What's going on?" Kim asked.

"Nothing... Um... Kim, do you want to watch a movie? ...Day has a lot of movies at his place," Itt asked because he saw that it was getting a little late now.

"Sure," Kim replied.

"Well, let me go and get the movies from upstairs. Is there something you want to watch, Day?" Itt turned to ask his lover.

"Bring the movies downstairs. Just let Kim pick something for us to watch," Day said. Itt got up and immediately walked into the bedroom.

"Itt really acts like a child," Kim said with a smile after Itt walked upstairs.

"He only acts like a child when he's with me. When he's out of my sight, he's all over the place... He's always looking for trouble and causing me headaches," Day said back, but he was smiling.

"Then you love seeing Itt, like this, don't you?" Kim asked. Day turned to look at Kim.

"Yes... he was the first and only person to ever make me love them this much," Day said earnestly. Kim felt a sting in his chest, but he knew he must keep his feelings to himself.

"That's good. It's easier for you to say the word love now. You never have never said those words before," Kim said with a smile. He wasn't trying to be sarcastic.

"It's because it's Itt. In the past, I didn't do very well with that word. I never said the word love to anyone. Now, I think life is too short... We don't know when we will die. If there is something on our mind, we should say it directly before it's too late. Besides, if I didn't say this word often, it would hurt him even more," Day said. This made Kim realize how much Day loved Itt. Kim sighs.

"Why do you have to think so much about it? Things will happen when they're supposed to. It could be tomorrow, or the day after. Someone who really loves you might even show up without you realizing it," Day said to comfort his friend. He didn't want Kim to overthink this.

"Here I come," Itt's voice rang out while running down the stairs.

"Itt, don't run!" Day immediately scolded him. Itt's smile turned into a frown.

"You don't have to make that face. What would you do if you were to fall down the stairs?" Day asked when he saw the expression on his lover's face.

"I would hurt," Itt replied sarcastically. Kim couldn't hold back his laughter. Itt placed the DVD case on the center of the table in the living room.

"P' Kim, you can choose whichever one you want to watch," Itt said to Kim. Kim opened the DVD case to pick a movie to watch before taking a movie out. Day saw the cover of the movie, then he looked at Itt with a smile.

"Let's watch this one. I haven't seen part 2 yet," Kim said. He handed the movie to Itt. Itt looked at it while trying to keep a straight face. He turned to look at his lover's face. Kim saw him and looked at him suspiciously.

"Go on. Put the movie in," Day said. Itt bother to complain because he already knew that he had allowed Kim to pick the movie. Itt walked over to the DVD player. Day gets up to turn the lights off.
