Chapter 19

Itt looks at Day's face briefly before turning his gaze back down to the cake he's been eating.

"My friend from high school, Belle," Day replied in a calm voice. Belle nodded. She didn't think much of what Day had said.

"Well, how many more days will you be staying here, Day?" Belle asked after a moment. She wanted to decide on a time to meet to properly discuss work.

"Itt, when do you want to go back?" Day turned to ask Itt who was sitting still.

"Itt," Day called him in a dark voice. Itt turned to look at him with a puzzled expression.

"What?" Itt replied.

"I asked, when you would like to go back to Bangkok?" Day asked quietly while staring at Itt.

"Um... it's up to you. I'll do whatever you want," Itt replied to Day with a slight smile before dodging Day's fierce gaze.

"Did you want to eat anything else, Itt?" Belle asked. Itt nodding his head before ordering another piece of cake to bring back to the salon. Day drove him back to the salon after buying cake for the employees.

"Follow me into the office, Itt," Day walked over to tell Itt, who was sitting on the sofa inside the salon. Itt raised his brow slightly.

"What is wrong?" Itt asked back.

"Follow me," Day said again before walking into his office. Itt had the feeling that he was about to get questioned about something, but he agrees to get up. He follows Day into the office. Day walks over and closes the door. He locks it and closes the curtains to the office to prevent anyone from seeing inside. Itt looks at Day nervously.

"What's wrong? Why did you lock through door to the office?" Itt asked Day. When he turned around to look at Day, he was met by fierce eyes. Dsy stood with his arms crossed. He stared at Itt without shifting his gaze.

"If you still feel insecure about Kim... then why did you give Kim my number and make me exchange my number with him? ...I even told you that I didn't want to do it... even though he and I talked about it, I still didn't want to regardless," Day said in a harsh tone. Itt froze when he realized that Day knew everything that Itt was thinking and feeling.

"I don't think much of it... it's just..." Itt said softly because he knew that he would not be able to lie to Day.

"Just what?" Day asked in a stern voice.

"Well, why do you have to make a big fuss about it?" Itt said before going to sit on the office sofa.

"Then, tell me, why are you like this? I know you're thinking about Kim right now. You know that he and I don't have anything more to do with each other. He and I are just friends now, just like how you and Meen are," Day said using Meen as an example to make Itt feel less insecure about Kim.

"I told you that I'm not thinking too much about it... I was just feeling jealous of Kim," Itt argued back.

"Jealous over what?" Day asked back.

"Well, Kim is very good-looking. He's a very beautiful man... I'm not like him," Itt said in a softer voice.

"Why? Are you jealous about that? Do you want to be as beautiful as he is?" Day asked.

"No... I'm just a little scared," Itt started to open about his feelings a little.

"What are you afraid of exactly? Tell me everything," Day said in a stern tone.

"Even though you and Kim are not anything anymore, I can't help feeling afraid... even if it'd all in the past, if Kim gets very close to you again... if he keeps pushing himself into your life, what if you unintentionally feel shaken by him... what am I going to do then?" Itt said out loud. Day shook his head, feeling exhausted. He sat on the armrest of the soft. He uses his hand to turn Itt's head to face him.
