Chapter 20

"What are you standing there and looking at? Come help me take the stuff into the kitchen," Day said to Itt. He immediately rushes over to help. Day carries the groceries into the kitchen. Then, he brings another glass of water to Kim, who is sitting in the living room.

"Give me a minute, and I'll come in there and talk to you. Itt, you can sit with Kim now," Day said before walking into the bedroom. Itt turned around and gave Kim a slight smile, but he was unsure of what to talk about. Itt looked at Kim's face the whole time.

"What's wrong, Itt?" Kim asked in surprise when he noticed Itt looking at him.

"No... it's nothing..." Itt quickly denies. He doesn't know why, but in front of Kim, Itt cannot seem to do anything right.

"I saw you staring at me, so I doubt it was anything," Kim said.

"Hmm... I'm sorry for being rude... it's just...your face is so beautiful," Itt said nervously. In his mind, he couldn't help comparing himself to Kim again.

"I'm a man. Why didn't you tell me that I was handsome?" Kim asked back.

"Well..." Itt was about to finish speaking when the bedroom door creaked open and interrupted him. Day, who had gone into the room to change his pants, came out and sat next to Itt.

"What did you want to talk to me about, Kim?" Day asked while grabbing Itt's hand and gently rubbing it. Kim looked at Day's hand, holding Itt's with sad eyes.

"Day... I think I'd better go into the room. That way, you and P' Kim can talk to each other more freely," Itt said because he thought that Kim probably walked to discuss the matter privately with Day.

"Don't leave...sit here," Day said in a harsh tone before turning to Kim.

"If you have something to say, Kim, you can talk about it in front of me and Itt. We come as one... either way, I will have to go and tell him about it," Day said in a serious tone. Itt froze and stared at Day a bit. He didn't expect Day to say think kind of thing in front of Kim. Kim looked at Itt before letting out a small sigh.

"Well... I have a little problem... because of this, I can't go back to sleep at my condo... I can't go back at home at all... so... I wanted to come and live with you for a while... could I?" Kim asked in a soft voice, making Itt freeze a moment before turning to look at Day.

"What kind of problem? Why can't you go back to your condo?" Day asked again.

"Well... I... well..." Kim was hesitant to speak, and he looked stressed.

"Day... you don't have to pressure Kim into saying it. He might have a problem that he can't tell anyone else about," Itt jumped in to say after seeing Kim's troubled expression.

"Kim, you said it yourself that there was something you wanted to discuss. If you can't bring yourself to say it, then how can I be of any help?" Day asked calmly. Kim pressed his lips together slightly.

"Well... I have a problem with someone... so I don't want to go back to the condo because he knows where I live. They even know where my house is," Kim said in an indifferent tone.

"Who are you having a problem with?" Day asked in a stern voice.

"Day... I don't expect anything from you. I just need a place to stay. Could I? I'm begging you. I promise, when I am ready, I'll tell you everything," Kim said. Day looked straight at Kim.

"I must be causing you trouble... I'm sorry for bothering you," Kim said softly while looking at Day's game with sorrow and regret.

"Day... You can let P' Kim stay with us for now," Itt said because he felt sympathy for Kim, even though Kim and Day had history together. Even though Itt felt confusion in his heart every time he was with Kim, he couldn't help feeling sorry for and sympathizing for Kim.
