The world had once been good, no one had the ability to control life but God. At least that's what people believe, that there were two places where people went after death.
You either went to heaven or hell, heaven is said to be everything you could or would want in life. It was said that it would quite literally be your happiness. It was for people who were good in their human lives.
Hell was below the Earths surface a fire filled prison for those who were bad in their human life. It was your worse nightmare, and it was lead by the Devil or some call him Hades god of the underworld.
God was the person said to have created the world, created life itself where as Hades was said to take said life. It was just a take though...right?
After all those who used a death note didn't go to heaven or hell...they were sent to nothingness after death...so the real question is...
