Mo Linyuan was adamant about letting her go. Feeling playful, he moved his hand and pushed the tea table to the side. “Really? I think you don’t know either. The heaven’s bestowal, or something like that–little girl, have you been reading too many books these days?”
“Of course not!” Ye Mu denied fervently and solemnly said, “You should believe I’m someone bestowed by the heavens.”
Mo Linyuan’s smile became even more amused. “Then I’ll believe you when you tell me who the empress dowager’s man is. Or, even better, you can even tell me about this book.”
“Aiyah… why do I feel so hungry all of a sudden, I think I should go eat.” After Ye Mu finished speaking, she hastily jumped up from the bed like a released carp. But when she was just was about to escape, her short stature was stealthily pulled back from behind by Mo Linyuan.
“Trying to run again?” The young man’s laughter rang in her ears, and at the same time, his hands naughtily scratched her sides. “Are you going to talk or not? Are you sure you don’t want to say anything?”
Ye Mu’s entire body quivered as she released an uncontrollable laugh, twisting her body into a fried dough twist!
“I’m warning you!” she said between laughter, “If you continue to be like this, I-I’ll make a move!”
“Oh?” Unfazed, Mo Linyuan continued to bully her. A deep smile appeared on his picturesque face as he listened to her cheerful laughter.
“Then do it! Didn’t the heavens send them to help me? Are you willing to hurt me then?”
Ye Mu’s eyes brimmed with tears from laughter as she glared fiercely at him with wide eyes!
“Wait for me to tell you…don’t force me! Hahaha, or I will attack!”
The two children fooled around until Mo Linyuan wholly suppressed Ye Mu. Although they were plying around, they suddenly became solemn at this moment.
“Are you honestly telling the truth about you being bestowed by the heavens to help me?” Mo Linyuan looked into Ye Mu’s eyes. After their bouts of laughter, they were now serious.
Seeing that Mo Linyuan had finally released her, Ye Mu let out a sigh of relief and replied, “How can I still be a fake? I truly came here to help you!”
“Then what you just said is true?”
Ye Mu recalled that most of the recent occurrences strayed from the novel’s actual plot; nevertheless, she garnered differences are likely especially with her meddling. Ultimately she said, “They should be close enough.”
There was a ghost of a light that floated within Mo Linyuan’s eyes. Finally, he said softly, “I trust you too.”
“What?”
“From tomorrow onwards, you will teach me.”
“Are you telling me I’m to be the emperor’s tutor?!” Ye Mu’s eyes lit up!
Mo Linyuan went nearer, and as if doing a mock ceremony, he extended a finger and flicked her forehead as he chuckled.
“No, you’ll just be reading with me.”
