The queen had her state funeral and me and the rest of her grandchildren held a vigil in her honour, we stood there in silence surrounding her coffin. I was always taught to never show emotion at a funeral and now y/n had to do the same.
She left to not show emotion but she was new so a couple tears did slip. Once behind closed doors we did our best to comfort each other. My dad was upset for days and we all did our best to be there for all of the family even if the paparazzi didn't give us privacy.
As we walked into the church I put my hand on y/n ' s back and led her into the church, she sat along side my family and myself.
