Enjoy my loves

**

Scarlett finds herself rousing the next morning after a night of completely undisturbed sleep. The sun was peaking in through the partially open curtains opposite, and she couldn't help but squint as she blearily flickers her eyes open and glances around the room. With a quiet sigh, she stretches, a soft grunt escaping her lips as her arms rise above her head. She then curls up on her side, her lips quirking up into a smile when she immediately comes face to face with her sleeping wife.

This was one of her favourite sides of Olivia. Serene. Completely relaxed and unguarded. Her face was soft, expression peaceful.

Scarlett's smile widens just that bit more as she reaches out to brush away a unruly strand of hair out of her face, the pad of her thumb softly sweeping over her cheek.

Olivia's eyes flutter open at the sensation, her lips quirking up at the corners when she see's Scarlett already staring at her. Her blonde, shoulder length hair was messy, cheeks flushed and eyes droopy. It was an endearing sight to behold and made her tummy flutter in the best way possible.

"Good morning," she greets, turning onto her back and reaching her eyes above her head. Scarlett smiles as she shifts onto her elbow.

"Morning." She murmurs. "How'd you sleep?"

Olivia exhales quietly as she drops her arms back to her sides. "Good baby. What about you?" She sits up and reaches for the discarded hoodie she'd thrown to the floor the night prior. She had a habit of falling asleep wearing it, and she'd always wake up at stupid a clock feeling abnormally hot and wishing she'd remembered to take it off.

Scarlett too sits herself up, running a hand through her hair in a futile attempt at taming it. "Yeah, me too. Should we go check on the baby?" She asks as she slides out of bed, her feet landing on the carpeted floor with a soft thud. She shrugs on the black silk dressing gown hung over the footboard of the bed and ties it into a loose bow.

Olivia nods, the corners of her lips quirking up into a soft smile at the thought of Aurora. She climbs out of bed too, slipping her hand into Scarlett's own before leading her out of the room.

The door was just as they'd left it, and with her free hand, Scarlett pushes it open fully and steps inside.

There, they were met with the sight of Aurora still fast asleep. She was laying on her tummy, the blanket they'd gifted her clutched to her face. The white noise machine was still going, and as Olivia heads over to turn it off, Scarlett perches herself at the edge of the bed and reaches a gentle hand out to rest on Aurora's back.

"Sweet girl? It's time to wake up." She murmurs, trailing the pad of her thumb over the little ones shirt clad back. Aurora's face scrunches up, and she lets out a quiet whine as she turns onto her back as she reaches her arms above her head.

Scarlett couldn't help but smile at the sight as her hand comes to rest on Aurora's stomach instead. It reminded her of way Olivia had stretched after waking up just five minutes prior.

"I'm gonna go make drinks." Olivia murmurs as she leans down to press a kiss to Scarlett's cheek, her own hand coming momentarily reaching out to test on Aurora's cheek as an almost silent way of saying good morning.

Scarlett hums her approval as she watches her wife disappear from sight for just a moment before bringing her attention back to Aurora. The little one was somewhat conscious now, her eyes blearily open as she grazes the corner of her blanket over her cheek.

"Good morning." Scarlett smiles softly as she tugs the little ones shirt back down to cover her tummy, her hand gently coming to rest there once she was done.
