YOU AND I DRINK THE POISON FROM THE SAME VINE."

"Sister! You must come" Ao'noungs voice was prominent in your ears as they perked, your mind still fuzzy and body still drowsy after the night you had spent with Neteyam

There was so much fog clouding your mind you could barley process what was going on, all you could remember was the night you spent with Neteyam and him then taking you to sleep.

As you stirred, you felt large arms around you, now recognising them as your mate's that word was so new yet felt so comfortable and easy when referring to Neteyam. It was as if Eywa herself had already determined that you where mates before it had happened

neteyams arms grow stronger around you as he squeezes you slightly, almost to tell himself that you where still there, your presence soothing him as he listens to the chaos of the village

But the peace of your sleep was soon disturbed by your brother, bursting through the door of your mauri, causing Neteyam to flinch upwards, still holding you protectively.

Ao'noung stood, mouth agape as he struggled to find the words to describe the current situation he was experiencing.

"What is—"

You immediately cut him off was to stand up, knees slightly buckling from the results of last night, your hickeys now put on display.

You silently thanked eywa that Neteyam had elected to put your clothes back on, you moved closer to Ao'noung as you tried to keep him silent.

Neteyam moved to be behind you, a comforting hand lay on your shoulder as Ao'noung's face shifted in discomfort

"Do you know what — doesn't matter" he panted as he began to worry further, pacing around the room as the two Na'vi opposite him stood in anticipation

"There is a Tulkun— outside the barrier, we must go!"

Your ears shot downwards as your heart began to beat faster, the Tulkun had left your village to start their new migration cycle they would not be back for months — if not a year

You gripped your mates hand on your shoulder as you rushed to follow your brother, Neteyam following quickly after you.

As Neteyam and your brother called their Ilu's, you chose a shorter route and decided to call Eamîa, mounting the beast as she hit the shallow waters, commanding her to fly west.

As you landed swiftly, you quickly dismounted Eamîa, and swam towards the front of the scene where several Na'vi where gathered.

Your face immediately turned paler as you where immediately hit with a wall of pain, but not a physical pain — something that was not visible you could not see the wound on the outside but you could feel it, all over.

"No — no no!" You cried as you swam up toward your spirit sister, tears flowing freely from your eyes as your face contorts, unimaginable pain and grief flowing through your veins.
