2- The Time

I had never been this eager in my entire life. Ever since the clock reached its 7-day countdown, I had never stopped smiling, more than I ever should be. And now that there's about a minute until I meet my soulmate, the smile had finally reached from ear to ear.

I wished we could have met at a more romantic place. The back of the bakery's storage room wasn't the most ideal meeting place ever but now that there's less than a minute left, I couldn't care less about the location.

I hoped I didn't look this shabby today. But since I had to work on a Sunday, I would just try to straighten my apron to at least look presentable.

I wondered how would he look like. Tall? Athletic? Handsome? Or maybe rich? Money wasn't that important but at least let him be taller than me?

I kept on looking at my wrist for the past minute. Any second now, my boss might come out of nowhere to look for me since I had been outside for a little too long. The anxiousness started to build up that I felt like fainting.

I found no one and it was just a few seconds away. Maybe my clock was broken? Or maybe I was waiting at the wrong location?

I was about to turn around and go back in, thinking that I might had been standing at the wrong place, when a shiny black car stopped along the sidewalk. My breath hitched at the sight. He's here. My watch wasn't broken after all.

I walked towards the luxurious sports car with quick steps. It felt like forever until I heard the door was opened.

I waited anxiously. He didn't get off immediately and I wonder what was taking him so long.

I sensed that he was about to stand up and not too long later, he actually did. Maybe my watch was broken after all.

I was met by a very confused girl when she turned around. This person was supposed to be my soulmate. She was far from the man that I had imagined for the past week. The girl was obviously smaller than me. Her petite body clearly screamed I'm-not-athletic. But her face, that child-like face, was more than beautiful. And let's not talk about how rich she was because that car said it all.

"I'm so sorry I got lost in the neighborhood and I.." 

*Beep*

She looked at her watch with wide eyes before turning back to me.

"Hi"

"Wow" The way she blinked her eyes repeated was quite adorable. "I mean, hi." She walked around the car towards me. "I'm.. I'm Taeyeon" 

"I'm Tiffany" I shook the hand that was being offered to me.

The moment our palms touched, I felt that tingling sensation throughout my body and all doubts about my watch being broken ceased. This was it. I finally found my soulmate.
