The sun shined through the curtains of Liam's bedroom as Hope turned away from the sunlight and reached out to grab Liam but to her surprise, she felt no one beside her as she opened her eyes and looked around

She definitely remembered falling asleep next to Liam so she could cross out about last night being a dream alas she heard the door to his bedroom as Liam walked in with a tray of food mostly the breakfast kind and some glasses of orange juice

His eyes darted up as Liam saw Hope was already up and awake; he chuckles to himself knowing that his plan had already gone down the drain..he was initially going to surprise her with breakfast but he didn't mind it as he sets the tray next to her and sits beside her

"I didn't really know what you liked so I got you one of everything"

He says while grabbing one of the plates full of food and hands it to Hope, she couldn't help smile at the kind sentiment as she digs into the food

"So did you sleep well? Or was my snoring that loud?"

He says in a joking tone as Hope lightly giggles as Liam hands her a napkin to wipe off the crumbs on her lips

Hope:Honestly..that has to be one of the best nights I have ever had, it was nice for a change..

She sets the plate back in the tray and takes the glass of orange juice as Liam tilts his head a bit to the right seeing a slight change in Hope's body language; he hadn't been here for a day and yet he heard all of these rumors of Hope being this closed off person and just staying far away from everyone else

But seeing her laugh and smile showed that the rumors aren't always true and you should always have a second opinion especially one of your own, Liam knew that Hope didn't let anyone in her circle of trust so easily and he was honored that she trusted him to be apart of that trusting circle

"So what you're saying is that you like sleeping with me?"

It took Hope a second to realize what Liam was saying as she saw Liam smirk at her; she grabbed a piece of watermelon and threw it at his face but he easily caught it

Hope:You know what I meant!

She covered her face as it grew red from the embarrassment she was feeling go through her body; Liam moved her hands away and held back his laughter and reassured Hope

"I know..but your reaction was so worth it!"

Hope punched Liam on the shoulder alas he didn't even feel it as Hope winced a bit from her fist hitting Liam's skin unfortunately their moment comes to an end as they hear the door to his bedroom open as Alaric walks in and sees them together

Alaric:I don't even want to know what's going on right now but I need to talk to both you..

The look on the Headmaster's face said enough that it was serious as both Liam and Hope got up from the bed

"About what?"

Alaric walked in and closed the door behind him as he sighed and rubbed his eyebrows

Alaric:It's about Landon..

Those words were enough to make them to give Alaric their full undivided attention as Alaric went on

Alaric:Dorian and I went to the library to do some research but when we got there we looked into the case of supernatural artifacts..the glass had been broken and a knife was missing
