Liam puts some gloves on as he glances at Hope who is now in her training clothes, apparently she wanted to spar against him despite Liam telling her about his strength and practically everything else surpassing her own limitations; but of course Hope insisted that she could stand up against him

The two Tribrid start to walk around in a circle each in the opposite direction as Liam asks Hope one more time before they begin their sparring match

"Last chance to end this, Hope.."

Hope put her hands up indicating that she was ready as Liam softly chuckled and put his hands up and taunted her to take the first punch; Hope rushed in using a bit of her supernatural speed and swung multiple times but Liam deflected all of her punches and lightly kicked her back

Hope:This would go alot better if you actually did what I did unless your scared?

A small smirk formed on Hope's lips as she saw how her taunt against Liam worked on him, the Tribrid of Thunder brought his right knee up against Hope's stomach causing her stumble back as Hope threw a right jab at Liam only for him to block it with his wrist

He grabbed her arm and twisted it back a bit and put her into an arm lock and pushed her back alas Hope wasn't done as she spin kicked Liam but he swerved back and swiped Hope's unguarded foot making her falling on the ground hard; she immediately flipped herself back up managing to catch Liam off guard

She was able to get a couple of hits in from down his stomach and up to his face but the more she hit him, she felt like she was hitting a wall of steel..a wall that tanked her punches and put her into a headlock as Hope squirmed to get free but his hold on her face was too much as she felt his breath trail down her neck

Liam hadn't realized what he was doing thinking that they were still sparring against each other; he noticed Hope had gone quiet and whispered into her ear

"You give up yet? Or do you want me to keep going?"

Hope felt a buzzing sensation run down her spine..she felt her body quiver at the sound of Liam's voice so close to her, a moment of clarity popped up into her mind as she quickly tapped Liam on his arm letting her know that she was giving up as his hold on her loosened

Liam immediately noticed something was up with Hope..he didn't add too much force into a headlock mainly one of those reasons being that he didn't want to actually kill her

"Hope..everything okay?"

She tried her best not to show her face due to how red her cheeks had become but he was able to get a quick look as Liam realized why Hope had gotten quiet during their sparring; he didn't think something like would have happened

Hope:Does the mate bond wolf thing between us..make things more..difficult..when we're near each other

Liam did remember reading all the information about their mate bond since the last time he saw Hope so he replied back with an answer

"Kinda yeah..the closer we are the more we want to stay together like we were back in Alaric's office"

It did make more sense why she had decided to stay near Liam when Landon was around talking about the supernatural world; she was still trying to get used to her being Liam's mate as she also remembered the way some of the girls looked at him when he was dragging Landon's unconscious body..she felt jealous
