"yeong" ara called out to her dear sister for the one last time.
"mhm?" she looked at her.
"you know we will lose our lives today, yet you agreed to the danju's order?" she asked her on the verge of tears.
"i am sorry ara, but we will fight park jin, the killer of our father. we finally have a chance to avenge our father. we trained all our lives for it" yeong told ara while holding her hands, grinning as tears escaped her eyes.
ara wiped the tears from yeong's face. "promise me, we will be seeing each other after this. okay?"
yeong nodded. "i promise"

the frozen lake of gyeongcheondaeho was chilling cold. the foggy weather, the white peaks and the raining snow made the atmosphere even more intense.
in the middle of the lake, there stood the shadow assassins, naksu and her sister nara, facing a group of mages and their leader, park jin.
"so you are naksu and nara, the shadow sisters who have been killing the mages in the city" sangho, park jin's assistant pointed.
"they call us so, for wherever we go, heads fall to the ground. beautiful names, are they not?" the sisters smirked.
"kill them" park jin ordered.
his people took their bows and arrows and fired them at sangho's command. naksu unsheathed her sword and created a barrier of thick ice using her energy.
park jin stepped up and summoned his bow and arrow. his arrow broke through the ice to attack nara but she avoided it effortlessly.
the mages surrounded and came at them one after one. they slashed them mercilessly. the clinking of swords made harsh noises. nara gathered a huge ball of energy threw it towards the mages causing them to fall.
suddenly, naksu created a huge splash of water, and the sisters vanished. then again naksu came out through the swirling water followed by nara.
park jin had already summoned his arrow. though this time, nara could not avoid it. she rolled into the ice and groaned in pain. sangho who saw naksu caught off guard, shooted an arrow at her which she could not dodge. a tense sword fight took place. the three mages, park jin against the sisters, fought for awhile until they could not anymore due to their injuries. even though it was two against one, park jin was not defeated.
the sisters combined their energy to power it. nara created white fog while naksu broke the ice and they went inside the icy water.
"do not let them go. capture them"
"yes my lord" the mages shouted.
