Third Person PoV

It's been a week since the Misulbul Fine Arts University resumed its spring session. Today it's a Friday - the most relaxed day of the week, may I add, since quite a few students have afternoon classes. But Seungmin happens to be the unlucky twenty one-year old student returning from his first singing classes as a third-year in the university.

Not only does Seungmin have to attend morning classes but his dorm key is missing from his crossbag where he usually keeps it. He looks at the possible people he could contact:
Jeongin - in his extra singing classes so can't ask
Felix and Hyunjin - ballet class starts in five minutes so can't ask
Han and Minho - don't disturb
Chan - let him sleep in late, don't disturb

That left out the ignoramus maggot named Changbin who was still in the favourites of Seungmin's contacts though they had fought a week back. He must have finished his workout by now, Seungmin wondered. He quickly called him, not liking the chill in the air one bit.

"Hey.... Min."

"Hey bitch. Do you mind giving me the spare key you always carry around?"

"Yeah... I'll be there in a minute. I... I know you hate the cold but please wait a little."

"Hurry up."

Seungmin still hated Changbin. I mean, who wouldn't? The two of them had shared a very intimate and delicate situationship - they were what you call 'friends with benefits with no strings attached'. It started in their first year of university and with them being switches, hooking up every now and then didn't seem like a problem. That was until, Seungmin caught feelings. Other than being friends with benefits, they were each other's weakness and safe place. From afar, anybody would assume they were a couple with how much they cared about each other. A small gesture here and there and it was all it took for Seungmin to be a love-hungry puppy. Changbin had given hope to Seungmin by acting like a real boyfriend and when he suddenly denied his feelings, he couldn't help but feel... wronged. Like Changbin had planned this from the start.

Seungmin got back to reality when he heard the familiar ding of the elevator. And when the doors opened, he couldn't help but stare at the short Greek god in front of him. His sleeveless black t-shirt stuck to his sweaty chest, making his muscles very visible and black sweatpants did not help Seungmin at all. How on earth was he not cold?

Changbin was currently in front of Seungmin, not knowing what to do. Seungmin's stare was intimidating to say the least. He looked like he would kill him and ask Minho to make a beef wellington out of him.

So without talking, Changbin took Seungmin's hand and pressed the key on his palm. Seungmin opened the door and realised how cold Changbin's hand was a little ago. "Get inside. The least I can do is give you some coffee while your sleeveless and out cold. I am not heartless," Seungmin muttered bitterly.

Changbin just smiled sadly and entered behind Seungmin. His eyes were on the mattress on the floor as he stood near the door. When Seungmin was back with a hot cup of coffee, Changbin took it and stared at it. He missed this. It has only been a week and without these small moments of care he felt empty.

"I lied," Changbin confessed after taking a sip.

Seungmin, without turning, asked, "About what?"

Changbin took a deep breath before pouring out all his thoughts. "About not feeling anything. I lied then Seungmin. I lied about not feeling the pure bliss and momentary wholeness. Every moment... every second... I cherish it all, you know. I tease people and am chirpy but otherwise I am not very expressive about my feelings. I... just can't seem to put words to my emotions and the only thing I know is you make me feel different. To me, you are a whole new emotion altogether. And my love for Felix would be like a rat in front of a grown cat. I really have fallen for you too, Min." Right now, Changbin expected Seungmin to doubt him of lying but what the other guy did was unexpected.

He turned and kissed Changbin on the nose. He took both of their cups, put them down on the centre table and closed the main door. Changbin's system had crashed and he was frozen. Seungmin took Changbin's cold hands and bent down to finally kiss him on the lips.

It was short and sweet. The taste of coffee and hot chocolate blended and created a relaxing taste. Changbin felt he got a part of himself back when Seungmin had held his arms. He thought he'd lost this person forever but the kiss assured him that he would stay even if it was for a short while. Seungmin had always thought those lips were specially made for his lips to kiss. Ever since their first kiss, his lips reminded him of a serene dream that was often dreamt but never real.

When they broke apart, a soft smile feel upon Changbin's chest. He hugged the guy and Seungmin's varsity jacket absorbed some salty tears. The taller guy chuckled and said, "This is the first and last time you get to hug me while you're all sweaty."

"I'll remember that, sir."

"You better, young lad."

And they stayed like that for a minute. The boys soaked in the vanilla smell from Jeongin's scented candles.

Yang Jeongin was trying not to shout from joy when he heard Changbin's voice across the door.

Now, the others won't have to bother about getting them to talk. Their job was done without having to work for it. Bless the person who decided on the schedule.

Deciding not to disturb them, Jeongin danced to Bang Chan's solitary dorm room and rung the door bell. After a minute of waiting, a shirtless Chan with ruffled blond hair opened the door. Jeongin's asexual heart was unbothered by the heavenly sight in front of him.

He simply entered, led Chan back to his bed and tucked him to sleep.

He cooked brunch for the sleeping boy, did the laundry and chose the outfit for the day. All the while he was humming on the tune he needed to create his solo song on. He had intended to talk to Chan about it later in the day but due to the current circumstances, he might as well speak to him when he woke up.

Jeongin sat by Chan's bed and looked at the sleeping boy's face.

"I hope everything's okay, hyung..."
