I want you to mourn me like the passing of a family dog
I want you sobbing on your knees, clutching your chest, choking on all the words you never told me
I want you to scream and break the mirror because you can't stand the creature looking back at you
I want you to reach out, heart on your sleeve so I can be the one who is cold
So I can be the one who leaves
I hope all the stupid things you ever told me replay all night in your head and you can't sleep for weeks
I hope someone breaks into your car and steals your radio so you have to sit in silence on the drive to work
I hope you hurt, God I hope you hurt
