Pathetic

Pathetic is something I think of my brains

When it rains it becomes impossible to

Get out of bed anymore

I'd rather curl up on the floor self hatred

I am pathetic

Why does the world see me as some

Hero in a story it's a pathetic job

To be a hero who

Makes people a villain

Guy falls in love with a girl and the

Villain is the one so madly in love

Hed shake the earth to be with her

Trade buildings and lives for her

Give the sky and the stars for her

So why have to be the pathetic hero

the villain

Cutting pieces of himself and putting them away

The villain screams in pain and as the hero kills him

Taking away the love of his life

Shaming him for being so selfish

So adamant of his feelings being less valid than hers

In reality they are both pathetic.

One so in love that he ruins himself and the other

So in love he thinks he is mighty.

This love is pathetic.

Romanticism is mutual sacrifice that not all should make.
