The cries are what awoke him..the cries of the fallen God, in a world where the Man of Steel had fallen..someone else takes up his mantle but he wasn't just any ordinary man..he was a clone

Both Connor and Donna slid back against the ground from the miniature shockwave that they had created during their connected punch as Donna quickly picked up a nearby log and threw it directly at Connor but this clone of steel used his heat vision to slice the log in half like it was nothing to him
Connor leapt up into the air and brought both of his fists down on the ground fortunately Donna was able to jump back from the impact still that didn't stop Connor from burying his hands into the ground and ripping a very large chunk of it out and tearing it in half before throwing both pieces of debris at Donna
The half Amazon warrior slid under one of the large chunks of thrown debris and caught the second one with her bare hands alas Connor flew straight through it and tackled Donna head on, the two titans went several trees and large boulders as Donna slammed both of her fists on the side of Connor's head temporarily stunning him
Giving her a chance to land some solid punches across his face that slowly pushed him back and landed back on his feet, Connor quickly recovered from Donna's hits as he threw a hard left jab to her face only for Donna to block it her arm and stopping the punch

The two stopped and looked at each other as Connor slowly turned his head to where Donna had blocked his attack, it felt familiar to him..but instead of becoming intrigued by this conundrum; this only made Connor even more angrier
He brought his knee up to Donna's stomach as she leaned down from the impact as Connor grabbed a handful of Donna's hair and lifted her up in the air before throwing her far up into the sky flying after her, Connor used his heat vision to send Donna higher and higher into the clouds but she wasn't about to go down that easily as the Amazon warrior clanged both of her silver bracelets together creating a large shockwave
Alas Connor stood against the large shockwave and flew straight towards Donna as he punched her with a left then a hard right before flying ahead of her and grabbing her face as Connor rocketed back down to the ground and slammed her face against as hard as he possibly could with his super strength
Donna groaned feeling some of her bones aching immensely as she mustered every ounce of strength that she possibly could and slowly got back up as the half Amazon put her hands up indicating she was still willing to fight against Connor
Even blinded by pure rage, Connor found this small admiration for Donna's persistence against him still he cracked his knuckles and punched Donna across the face making her stumble back; she wiped the blood running down her lips and angrily told Connor
Donna:That was rude..
She responded by jumping up and kneeing Connor in the face before using her lasso and wrapping it around his shoulders and yanked him to her and spin kicked making Connor fall to the ground; nonetheless Donna kept going and kicked him across the face as he fell and looked up at Donna
The Amazon warrior just brought her fists down on Connor punching him over and over again as her relentless punches grew harder and harder practically punching him into the ground as she screamed out in rage somehow Connor was able to use his freeze breath to encase Donna in ice
Connor grit his teeth and with one final and devastating uppercut he shatters the ice encased Donna as she falls out of the ice and lays on the ground; their fight had come to an unfortunate end with Connor standing over Donna's unconscious body
The once building anger in Connor's eyes slowly fades as the clone of steel looks around not remembering how exactly he had gotten here in the first place; the last thing he remembered was going to see what he was before being here
He could hear someone as he looked down and saw a beaten and bruised Donna Troy laying on the ground as his eyes slowly move down to his hands as Connor's eyes widen seeing the blood on them; the sound of footsteps grabs his attention as Eve spots Connor with Krypto walking alongside her
"Eve..I..I didn't mean too..I never--"
Eve didn't let Connor finish as she carefully made her way over to Donna and knelt down putting her head down on Donna's chest; she let out a sigh of relief knowing that she was still alive
Eve:Connor I need you to listen to me..
She gets up from her knees and puts her hands on his shoulders as Connor noticed she didn't even care about the blood on his hands
Eve:I didn't bring you here to shame you..I brought you here to warn you, you're not Lex Luthor and you're not Superman..you're both..
Connor glances at Donna as he feels his hands starting to tremble but Eve moves her hands from his shoulders down to his hands and squeezes them trying to calm Connor; she knew that anger inside of him wasn't his own
Eve:Sometimes that anger will be yours and sometimes it will be his..
She says referring to Lex Luthor as Connor's hands start to tremble less and less
Eve:But either way you need to learn to control it..no matter how much you want to lash out..
They both hear some sirens going off as Eve realizes that all of the noise during Connor's fight must've attracted some unwanted attention most likely Lex Corp's hired help
Eve steps aside as she sees Connor kneel down and gently pick her up in his arms and look back at he, she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small piece of paper and hands it to Connor
Eve:I have someone in Star City who can help you..just head to this address and tell them I sent you..
Connor immediately realizes what Eve is doing but she stops him not wanting to waste anymore time
Eve:Your life is going to be difficult and complicated and sometimes painful maybe even full of joy..
"I don't want to leave you..there has to be another way.."
Eve places her hand on his cheek and smiles at him because as much as she wants to go with him; they'd just track her down and capture Connor
Eve:There isn't, Connor..please just go..
There was some hesitation in Connor's eyes as he stood there with Donna in his arms, he didn't want her to be taken aswell..so with one last look at Eve; he stepped back and ran off in a blink of eye
The super dog whined seeing his best friend gone as he nudged Eve's leg as she scratched his head and told the dog
Eve:It's going to be okay buddy..go with him and keep him safe for me..okay?
Krypto licked her face and barked as he took off after Connor, Eve watched as some armored SUV's drove through the destroyed trees as multiple armed men stepped out
Eve didn't know what was going to happen to her..but all she cared about in that moment that Connor was safe and far away from this; because his journey had only begun..
