The snow crunched beneath Connor's footsteps as he grew closer and closer towards the palace of ice; the cold gusts of wind brushing against his skin seemingly having no other true effects on him whatsoever as he continued to venture forward
Connor didn't know how he was just teleported all the way to Antarctica but for whatever reason it may be, he believed it to be for the right reasons instead of immediately deciding or assuming for the wrong ones; the clone of steel ultimately made it towards the large entrance of this large ice palace as he took a deep breath and pushed the left door open for him to go inside
The second he stepped inside his eyes were surrounded by the complete awe of just how truly large it was from the inside, yet in the middle of this place were two large ice sculptures that looked almost human to him alas his attention was put elsewhere as Connor noticed a highly advanced floating robot in the corner of the very large room staring him

The futuristic looking robot flew closer to Connor as it looked up and down at him almost as if it was studying him before it spoke out loud
?:Greetings, I am Kelex. I am the guardian of the Fortress of Solitude and collective keeper of the history of the House of El. You appear to be confused..would you like to speak with my creator?
Connor only gave a small nod not really knowing what to say or even react to something such as this as Kelex flew away from Connor leaving him alone; a full five minutes went by as Connor patiently waited until he could hear some footsteps approaching and just as he turned around he was met by a familiar face but the one from his memories as Jor-El walked towards Connor with a small smile on his face seeing the resemblance between his biological son and the person standing before him
